The PKR-DAP Negotiation For Seats in Sarawak

The PKR-DAP Negotiation For Seats in Sarawak

The PKR-DAP Negotiation For Seats in Sarawak

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 10:41 AM PDT

P Y Wong's Letter to Malaysia Today

The current hot news is the ongoing seat negotiations between DAP and PKR and how it has broken down. The story is that DAP wants 18 seats, mainly Chinese-majority and that PKR wants to reduce it to 13 by demanding 5 of their seats.
It will be instructive to look at the situation during the 2006 Sarawak State Elections

SarawakDUNseatnegotiationbetweenDAPandPKROf the 5 seats in dispute (N9 Padungan, N13 Batu Kawah, N25 Balai Ringin, N63 Piasau and N65 Senadin) 4 were contested by PKR and 1 by SNAP (N25 Balai Ringin). Even then, both the candidates who contested in Balai Ringin are now PKR members. Hence PKR's request for the 5 seats. The issue here is DAP demanding 5 seats, 4 of which were contested by PKR previously.

The principles of seat negotiations have always been:
1. Incumbent seats to be contested by the incumbent party. Eg N9 Padungan was held by Dominique Ng Kim Ho (PKR),
2. Seats contested by a particular party in the past, gets to contest again in the same seat unless there are exceptional circumstances warranting a change. This principle has been respected in all the by-elections since Mar 2008.

In the seat negotiations, it is clear that PKR has respected those principles. They have not demanded any seat that DAP contested in the past, not even N27 Simanggang that was contested by SNAP. The only dispute are with seats that PKR stood for in 2006 plus N25 Balai Ringin where Ibi Anak Uding previously from SNAP, is now with PKR. DAP wants those seats.

Anwar's Sex Video – An Overkill Bringing Back A Mocking Bird

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 08:31 AM PDT

The penny is in the mouth of the "Datuk TKO", the trio with a blue video of the rub-a-dub-dub three men in the tub type. Two from the three have an axe to grind against beleaguered Opposition leader, Anwar Ibrahim. It's a game move not many people will want to accept either as politically valid or as factual.

Anwar is in court once again on a sodomy charge. His sperm was found swimming with three or four others in the anus of the "passive" Saiful Bukhari, so we were told. He may or may not be the man in the video show too.

People the writer contacted said it is unlikely for any person in Anwar's position to expose himself to such a degree of risk.

The video stunt is an overkill, the overkill causing PM Najib Tun Razak and the Barisan Nasional (BN) to need a recess against the growing excesses of a police state, a marred judiciary with judges ruling against themselves and an Umno that is once again becoming filth in the eyes of a lot of Malays and Malaysians.

Democratic Revolutions

The environment is serious.

As the "democratic revolutions" rise in the Mena countries with Nato having to take the lead in the invasion of Libya by "the world", it doesn't take anyone clever to guess that Asean is designed to return to the Southeast Asian turmoil of the sixties and seventies.

That was a time of fractious regional frivolity of big power geo-political interplay. It followed World War II and it dined at Pork Chop Hill in Korea and then at My Lai in Vietnam.

Pakistan is thoroughly a failed state and in hell. That is South Asia.

Now in Indonesia, after the ouster of Suharto in 1998 via the American Enterprise's Reformasi which took Anwar's friend, B.J.Habibie, to the top from number two, religious conflicts threaten to wrack the experimental democracy and the open market economy that can reach one trillion in less than four years if all goes well.

That is the largest nation and economy in Southeast Asia, a sitting duck in the spread of the hegemonic design, now disturbingly colored in Yellow and Red in Thailand, bordering trouble with Kampucea and with Muslims in the south, and in Myanmar a dreadful military stranglehold to nearly complete the jest of ruins in Southeast Asia once again.

In the Philippines, a bankrupt individual, the struggles with the Muslims and the remnants of Communist insurgents can drag the nation down into the slough of despondence.

It's the sort of turmoil that kills aspirations and that represses the people with police states or military governments.

In Malaysia the powers-that-be kill the freedom of conscience and the rights of religious minorities, this time taking the Christians too, after thousands of Bibles in the national language were impounded for reasons known to the government and decidedly disagreed by the popular hosts, paving the way to the fire next time, to catch James Baldwin book of that title before the twilight turns dark and the moon stands still over a burning Malaysia.

Small Town

In a taxi from a small town to another a few weeks before, the driver said to me the present day is no longer like it was when the people were uneducated and dependent on the largesse of the government.

We are different now, he said. People who were afraid before will now stand and walk for their rights.

That is, of course, correct. The BN has been slow but fairly successful.

The urban population is now 63 percent, when it was 62 percent rural the day of the racial riots of 13 May 1969.

Today in the rural are teachers, nurses and an assortment of government extension workers, ex-army and police personnel plus students of fully residential schools and colleges, many far better informed than the members of the disinherited urban groupies who become politically branded as opposition because of their drug and sex video-strips lifestyles.

It's a patchwork population, quite unlike the 60s to 80s generations who willfully sank in with the rich and mighty in search for money and a social standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the titled members of the super-privileged elite.

The elite replaced the superior colonial whiteness with a paintwork of cultural blandness than can and do become inefficient or swiftly filthy, which is the main bases of the widespread rejection.

The video overkill of Anwar Ibrahim occurs in such an environmental disuse of the political leadership. It almost lost traction in a day, as it did in 1998.

Prominent people and journos simply said they have seen the tapes and the hero was not Anwar.

It's not about any love for Anwar. It is simply hate of the filth stuck somewhere in the ruling herd.

In the course of the Anwar Saga since Mahathir unleashed his fury against his unwashed deputy and rival in 1998, the judiciary which was once before respected and cherished bent with the wind like it was doing obeisance to the gods on Mahameru.

Years later, after Mahathir had retired and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi became premier, the judges swayed and one declared Anwar had been the victim of a conspiracy at the highest level of government and society.

Punch & Judy

Everything seemed to have come back, like in a replay of Punch and Judy. In this segment of the saga a bunch of DNA was found residing in the victim's (Saiful) rectum.

Meantime that fellow, Saiful Bukhari, was seduced and bonked by a DPP, Farah, a member of the Attorney-General's "esteemed" team.

What's left of the credibility of the case and of the allegation is anybody's guess.

Is that why the blue video surfaced on the eve of the Sarawak elections?

The PKR was already routed and the Pas was punch-drunk following the risqué bickering at the very top of the party. It led to a series of knockdowns in bye-elections the Pas sustained, votes receding like the foreheads of the human from the Homo sapien to the Neanderthal.

Now they have a rallying point, the dying horse whipped back into vigorous aggression by a do-it-yourself CCTV blue-job.

Will a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) help convince the public it's really Anwar who romped in bed in the video?

Have you ever heard of a RCI that was convened for a purpose like that?

Drop it friend! It's a lost cause. Just let the police decide and be done. ---a.ghani ismail, 26, March, 2011

The statistics

A recent survey of married men and women showed that 87% of married men and 89% of married women in the 60-64 age range are sexually active. Those numbers drop with advancing years, but 29% of men and 25% of women over the age of 80 are still sexually active.
So clearly, the older years can be a time of relief that children are no longer lurking in nearby bedrooms, and there is no longer a need to jump up early in the morning for work. For some, older age is a time of freedom to explore sexual expression in ways never before realized. A time to cast away the "shoulds" of earlier years, the societal expectations. For others, they are more than happy to forget about sexual performance, and to seek other forms of companionship and interpersonal sharing.
Sexual expression means many things
One of the most significant losses with advancing age is the loss of intimacy. Many seniors have no opportunity for physical contact, affectionate dialogue, snuggling, or shared secrets. The actual act of intercourse is only one possible form of sexual expression. The continuing development of your sexual identity and the evolution of your own form of sexual expression with advancing years represents, in many ways, the most basic expression of your self.
Sex is good for you!
One fascinating recent study showed that men who have more than two orgasms per week have lower mortality statistics. But these numbers only demonstrate a correlation between sexual activity and longevity, they do not prove that sex prolongs life. What is probably true is that people who are well, and vigorous enough to engage in sexual activity are also healthier in general. But I believe that sexual activity, in its many forms, can be physically, intellectually, and even spiritually fulfilling. It is often a good form of exercise, and it can stimulate the brain and promote good mental function. For some, sexual expression represents the most elemental manifestation of true self.
Finding Your Sexual Expression
What is most important is to find the type of sexual expression that suits you best.
Self-stimulation
Some people, either by choice or by necessity, find much gratification in sexual self-stimulation. There may be some resistance to this form of self-exploration by people who were raised with the idea that self-stimulation is "dirty" or perverted. But many who have overcome this resistance have been exhilarated by a whole new experience.
Sharing sexual experience in new ways
Others explore sexual sharing in new ways with a longtime partner, or with a new partner. And still others, especially elderly women, have discovered new intimacies with same-sex partners, even after spending most of their adult lives in heterosexual relationships. Again, the key to satisfaction and fulfillment with sexual experience in later life is individual choice.
Changes in the Body
There are many changes that happen in our bodies as we age, and some of these changes can modify sexual experience in later years. Both women and men experience slower arousal responses. This can lead to anxiety in people who do not understand that this change is normal.
Women's changing bodies
Women's bodies change is some of the following ways:
The lips of the vagina (the labia) and the tissue covering the pubic bone lose some of their firmness.
The walls of the vagina become less elastic.
The vagina itself becomes drier.
The clitoris can become highly sensitive, even too sensitive.
Uterine contractions with orgasm may at times be painful.
Men's changing bodies
The entire male sexual response tends to slow down in the following ways:
There is a delay in erection.
There is a need for more manual stimulation to achieve an erection.
The "plateau" phase, or period between erection and ejaculation, is prolonged.
Orgasm is shorter and less forceful.
The penis loses its firmness rapidly after ejaculation.
The "refractory period", or time interval before erection is able to be achieved again, can be quite long, even up to a week in very elderly men.
Chronic Diseases
Many chronic diseases that elderly people experience can also modify sexual expression.
Coronary artery disease: Coronary artery disease may lead to chest pain with sexual activity, or fear of having a heart attack during sex.
Chronic lung disease: Chronic lung disease can lead to breathlessness.
Arthritis: Arthritis may impair the ability to use some positions for sex.
Embarrassment: Some older persons may find that embarrassment over the loss of a breast, or the presence of a colostomy bag or some other apparatus, may inhibit free sexual expression, especially with a new partner.
Medications: For other people, medications taken for many chronic diseases, especially hypertension and heart disease, may cause either a loss of libido or impaired performance.
The Key to Continued Pleasure: Flexibility and Willingness
So is all of this enough to make older people pack it in and forget about sexual activity? Of course not! The key is a willing spirit and the ability to be flexible and adapt to change. Here are some of the numerous ways men and women can adapt to aging changes and continue to be, or become, a sexual person:
Slow down: Realize that sexual arousal takes longer and requires more manual stimulation.
Make the most of foreplay: Take all the time that you often didn't have in your younger days to pleasure each other or yourself.
Communicate: Share what makes you feel good with your partner.
Use your sensory skill: Take time to explore in great detail all the tactile, visual, auditory, and even olfactory aspects of being intimate.
Play with the mood: Take time to set the stage for a special experience –  experiment with lighting, music, candles, oils, perfumes, and incense. Try a new place.
Adaptations for women
Here are some suggestions for older women:
Lubrication: Make adequate lubrication part of your routine, to avoid irritation of the vagina or painful intercourse. The first part of lubrication is adequate stimulation, but an over-the-counter lubricant can be a very helpful adjunct. A water-based lubricant, such as Astroglide, K-Y Jelly, or Today, is best; oil-based lubricants and petroleum products such as Vaseline may be difficult to flush out of the vagina, and may cause irritation or infection. Applying the lubricant yourself can be a good way to get in the mood. You could also make applying the lubricant part of your lovemaking routine!

Vaginal estrogens: Some women with extreme vaginal dryness and irritation may benefit from a short course of vaginal estrogens, but remember that estrogens are absorbed through the vagina, and the systemic effects of estrogens, both positive and negative, should be considered and discussed with your doctor. If you use estrogen cream, use as little as is effective for as short a time as possible to get the desired effect. Of course, you may be taking oral estrogens for other reasons, in which case you will also experience beneficial effects on the vagina.

Adaptations for men
Here are some thoughts for older men:
Be patient: Realize that more stimulation is required to achieve an erection. If you can't achieve a satisfying or effective erection despite prolonged manual stimulation, you may be one of many men who experience erectile dysfunction. But don't give up. See your doctor, who may either treat you her/himself or refer you to a urologist (see 'Medications' below).
For men with heart disease: Men who have heart disease may be particularly concerned about whether sex will put too much strain on their heart, and men who have had a heart attack or heart surgery wonder when or if they can ever resume sexual activity. You should discuss this with your doctor. For the most part, sexual activity may be resumed within about two to four weeks after a heart attack. If you can climb two flights of stairs without chest pain or shortness of breath, you should be able to engage in sexual activity without concern, as this is more vigorous exercise than having sex. If you are prone to chest pain with sex, discuss taking a nitroglycerine tablet under the tongue before sex, and experiment with positions to find one that is less physically demanding for you (see below).
Medications
If you are taking medications and think that one of them may be impairing your sexual performance, be sure to discuss it with your doctor. Let him or her know that sexual activity is important to you. Frequently, other medications can be substituted that have less effect on sexual activity.
Testosterone: If you would like to be more sexually active, but find that your libido is impaired, you might possibly benefit from testosterone. I think that testosterone has been greatly overblown as a potential enhancer of strength, energy, and overall well being, but it has been shown to improve sexual performance in men who have low testosterone levels, and to increase libido when taken in small doses by women. Ask your doctor about whether you should be evaluated for this option.
Viagra: If you are suffering from one of many treatable medical conditions that cause impotence, a medical evaluation is indicated, and you can be helped. Some examples of diseases that interfere with sexual response are diabetes, thyroid disease, and depression. Once you have had a thorough medical evaluation, you may well benefit from a medical treatment for impotence. The one everyone has heard about and is interested in is Viagra. Viagra is a chemical substance called silendafil, which acts by inhibiting the action of a phosphodiesterase, which ends erection. The phosphodiesterase works by breaking down cGMP, the substance that relaxes penile muscles, thereby drawing blood into the penis and causing erection. Viagra has been shown to be very effective for many different types of erectile dysfunction. It is relatively safe, except that it cannot be taken by men who use nitrates for heart disease.
Alternatives to Viagra for men: If Viagra is not an option for one reason or another, there are other medications that can be tried. Some involve application into the urethra, or injection into the penis. Some men benefit from a vacuum pump device to aid in erection, and others may choose the surgical implantation of a penile prosthesis. If you are considering any of these options, be sure to see a urologist who is expert in this field.
Positions to Try
Experiment with different positions if pain, strength, or endurance is an issue for you. Some options are:
The "spoon position", in which both partners lie on their sides, the woman with her back to the man, is great for intimacy with or without intercourse.
The woman on her back and the man at a right angle to her on his side.
The person with less strength or endurance on her/his back, with the stronger partner kneeling above.
Conclusion
If you are interested in being sexually active, with or without engaging in intercourse, and the above suggestions are not sufficient to help you achieve the level of activity you desire, ask for help. Your primary care doctor, urologist, or gynecologist may be able to help, or may refer you to a sex therapist.

Don't fall into the ageist trap of thinking that sex is only for the young. Sexuality in your older years is all about breaking down stereotypes, open communication, individual choices, and embarking on a path of wonderful self-discovery. Enjoy!

SUPP ‘An Advantage Certainly on the Menu”

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 06:24 AM PDT

The calls were loud and clear amongst the Chinese community that they were very unhappy with the SUPP leadership and it was shown at the last parliamentary elections in Sibu. However, the government of the day and the SUPP top leadership and the grassroots have been working extremely hard to win back the support. A lot of good work has been put in by their leaders to put it right and their ears and eyes are very much on the ground now. DAP supporters have even boasted that this election might signal an end to the party of 'towkays"

The Chinese community are watching the sandiwara played out by PKR/DAP.Azmin Ali Deputy president of PKR knows that when there is infighting amongst themselves they will stand not a ghosts of a chance  against BN. Does he need to be reminded that he mentioned it at Grand Continental Hotel in Kuching. BN will not be over excited but will love that advantage on the menu.

It will not be known just yet as nomination day is on the 6th and BN especially SUPP will not want to have their pants caught undone and on fire. Are their strategists and scouts looking at the movements of DAP representatives being moved from one constituency to another? The DAP top boys are looking at safer seats than usual to pull through knowing very well SUPP have indeed done their homework. Two can play the same game but who will come on top depends on the parties involved. BN will quietly go on with their work and preparing their candidates for the nomination day.

As much as we want to write more this image sent to me by an upcoming Youth member incharge  of publicity for the elections does show that the time is about right for SUPP. Many will still say..No way but always expect the unexpected in politics.

PKR tamak - PR mungkin menggigit jari di Sarawak.

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 05:38 AM PDT

PKR jangan terlalu tamak. 'Orang tamak selalu rugi', kata perbidalan kita.

"PR will crash before taking off" kata beberapa rakan saya di Kuching.

Pemimpin UMNO Bertanggung Jawab Atas Video Seks Palsu

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 05:15 AM PDT

Kenyataan Akhbar

Rekod menujukkan mereka diberi ganjaran besar.

Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi, Dato' Augustine Paul dinaikkan sebagai Hakim Mahkamah Rayuan dan kemudiannya Hakim Mahkamah Persekutuan.

Manakala Hakim Mahkamah Rayuan, Datuk Pajan Singh Gill dan Datuk Richard Malanjum dinaikkan pangkat sebagai sebagai Hakim Mahkamah Persekutuan. Datuk Ariffin Jaka juga dinaikkan dari Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi menjadi Hakim Mahkamah Rayuan.

Mereka dinaikkan pangkat lebih awal berbanding hakim-hakim yang lebih senior ketika itu seperti Gopal Sri Ram, Datuk Mokhtar Sidin, Datuk Denis Ong and Dato' Abdul Kadir Sulaiman.

Peguam Negara, Tan Sri Mohtar Abdullah dinaikkan pangkat sebagai Hakim Mahkamah Persekutuan.

Pegawai penyiasat, (Tan Sri) Musa Hassan meroket daripada ke SAC2 kepada SAC1, Pengarah Siasatan Jenayah dan kemudiannya Ketua Polis Negara. Timbalan Pendakwaraya, Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail dinaikkan sebagai Peguam Negara.

SAC 1 Datuk Mohd Rodwan Mohd Yusof dilantik menjadi Ketua Polis Melaka.

Can Sarawak Pull Off a Tsunami?

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 03:39 AM PDT

By Sim Kwang Yang

Finally, the 10th general state election in Sarawak has arrived, with the polling date fixed on April 16, 2011.

The question to ask is: can we expect a political tsunami, in which the long established Barisan Nasional will suffer its worst ever bashing at the hands of the opposition parties?

In the past few months, we have seen dramatic and unexpected changes in the Arab world.

Without warning, powerful regimes in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia have fallen to popular uprisings, pulled down by the bare hands of the people.

Will the same thing happen to the Sarawak regime in Malaysia, via the ballot box?

On the surface, the Sarawak BN's hold on power looks unshakeable. The BN's control over all institutions of authority has long been secure, with the government firmly holding the reins of power. Superficially at least, it looks impossible for the opposition to gain a firm foothold in the state.

We do not know how a political tsunami is formed. All we know is that the state of Sarawak is ready for a turn of the political tide. The state has been in the iron grip of Chief Minister Taib Mahmud for 30 years, making him the longest serving chief minister in Malaysia's history.

Corruption is rife since Taib exercises absolute rule over this resource-rich state. Sarawak needs a new political era where there is more even-handed political competition.

The Sarawak Report website has published a series of very revealing articles about how the chief minister has accumulated fabulous wealth.

It has also predicted an unprecedented breakthrough by the opposition parties in the coming poll.

Sarawak Report has grabbed international attention after its series of shattering exposes on the inner workings of the Taib regime.

But as the election looms, Sarawak opposition party Snap has come back from the dead, and has boasted of contesting in the election in a very big way.

We Sarawakians are used to hearing mosquito parties that wake up from long years of slumber, often just before a general election to announce their intention to contest on a large scale. They generally do not do well, and they go back to hibernation after the polls.

But the antics of Snap will have the negative effect of distracting the voters from their political focus. They are certainly going to weaken the chances for PKR, by dividing opposition support and splitting the vote in three-cornered fights. This must be sweet music to the ears of BN leaders.

Money politics daunting

On paper at least, the DAP seems the most likely beneficiary of the next general election. The party has enjoyed a kind of resurgence after it surprised observers in the most recent state election in 2006, by adding six seats to its collection.

There is a reason why the DAP is strong in the Chinese-majority areas. The Chinese voters are the most financially independent people in the state and they do not depend much on government allocations for the purpose of socio-economic development.

They are also the best informed, because living mostly in the towns and cities, they are most likely to have the latest online information at their fingertips.

One of the constituencies to watch in the election is Ba'kelalan (DUN 70), where the state PKR chief Baru Bian is likely to contest. It is a remote constituency in the mountains in the deep interior of Sarawak, where Baru is seeking to represent the Orang Ulu.

As usual, Bian's worst enemy is money politics. In Sarawak, vote buying is a matter of routine, and feasting, paid for by the candidate, is a standard practice of canvassing.

Election campaigns are hugely expensive affairs, beyond the means of most people. Politics is limited to being a game for the very rich.

At the time of writing, there is some confusion among the opposition parties over the allocation of seats and appointment of candidates.

The opposition parties have yet to learn the art of co-existing peacefully and they have not always shown that they can give and take with a big heart. If they cannot resolve their differences amicably, they will go to the polls with many injuries done to their collective health. That is not sound politics.

I have to conclude that a political tsunami in the next state poll is highly improbable. The opposition parties will count themselves lucky if they make a small gain in the number of their seats.

The kind of people power that graced Libya, Egypt and surrounding nations will probably happen only once in a generation. It is unlikely to happen in Sarawak, much to my regret.

JOM G T'GANU!...

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 03:08 AM PDT

Jom G T'ganu! or Lets Go To T'ganu (Terengganu)!!

This is the theme of our National Press Club (NPC) Treasure Hunt 2011...aptly named 1Malaysia National Press Club Hunt 2011 Kuala Lumpur to Awana Kijal in Terengganu.

The motoring-picture-walk hunt is scheduled on May 7 to 8 and to be flagged-off from NAZA World in Petaling Jaya and ends at Awana Kijal Golf and Beach Resort in Kemaman, Terengganu.

This year's hunt is offering the biggest prize money in treasure hunting fraternity -- RM 8K for the Perfect Score Team, picking up RM5K as category champions and RM 3K for the Best of The Best Award. There was no winners for the previous year's hunt to Kuantan.

The Perfect Score Team is also named The Best Of The Best!
Two categories -- Members and Non-Members await participants who will pay RM 180 for members and RM 200 for Non-Members. Non-Members can also sign up to become members and enjoy the discounted fee as Members of the National Press Club or NPC.

YB Dato' Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Minister of Youth and Sports will host the prize-giving dinner at Awana Kijal, Kemaman in Terengganu and give away the prizes to champions and almost-champions. He is also the Member of Parliament for Kemaman.

He will launch the event at the NPC Clubhouse on April 18, 2011 at 8pm and will receive pledges of contributions from sponsors. Meanwhile, members of NPC and the public can always sign up for the hunt by contacting Miss Nana, our Club Manager at +6017-311 0187 for the entry form. Efforts are also underway to make the form and rules+regulations available online.

Its a waste (a pity if you like it) if you sit out of this hunt, in fact i am sure you have what it takes to take a shot at the RM 8K prize money as the Perfect Score Team. Otherwise you would always be happy with an RM 5K prize money should you end the hunt as the almost-Perfect Score Team.

In any other way, you should be with us to Awana Kijal on May 7, 2011. See y'all there!!!

JOM G T'GANU WEH!!!!

Emmy Rossum Sexy Topless Scene On ShamelessThe Psychometer:UMNO Has Gone Too Far This Week?

READMORE THE ROYAL PISS FOR ROYAL WHORE PRINCESS OF UMNO-BA

Finally, the Prime Minister has spoken. But I suppose he had little choice because he had to attend the UMNO Supreme Council meeting and then meet the Prostitutes with notebooks ( I have decided not to call them journalists because they don't have one critical ingredient of a journalist, which is seeker of truth).Yesterday, would-be-maybe-presidential-something-something-perhaps-who-knows the Prime Minister had to face down the accusation UMNO had, in a matter of weeks, rather transparently switched positions on whether or not he supported some sort of the guys who put this tape together It was a pretty understandable piece of NAJIB'S criticism, because, on its face, it sure looked like he just reflexively opposed whatever mAHATIR was doing at the time.

NAJIB went on Facebook to try to jam the round peg into the square hole, and it was a mess. But he had to try, because as it turns out, NAJIB is very much opposed to presidential aspirants flipping their positions on anything. You see Datuk Seri Najib Razak does not like to get his hands dirty. That is why he has so far stayed out of the Alkitab issue, it is too messy for him. If he supports the Christians, the Muslims will be angry. At least this is what his Umno people are telling him.
So put Idris Jala (KPI Minister ) in the forefront. Meanwhile Najib will focus on his Internet community friends and talk about 1Malaysia and scholarships. Similarly when the porn video scandal broke, the PM kept silent.
Instead of denouncing the skullduggery and stating equivocally that Umno was not involved, he stayed silent. Probably he like cautious politicians like to see how this affair was going to play out.
Anyway, last night he spoke and this is what he said: the main task ahead was to find out the authenticity of the video tape. Umno's role in the matter is not important.
Not important! Okay, I agree that we need to find out if the tape is doctored, etc. And whether the main actor is the leader of the Opposition.
But the guys who put this tape together have broken half a dozen laws and should be charged. And if Umno's role can be ascertained, then we can surely say that Umno's leadership sanctioned the act.
After all, there is a report that Najib met the Datuk T gang a few days ago. So if Umno's top leaders sanctioned this sting operation what does it say about their moral compass (sudah rosak).
But maybe we should not be surprised. Just listen to the vulgar jokes at the party assembly every year. Gutter is what they do, and do well. So sorry, Prime Minister, your first statement on the video leaves me uncomfortable. It sounds like you actually like what Datuk T did.
I am just curious. Why is there so much fear of Anwar? He is just another man, flawed sometimes, inspired sometimes, a disappointment sometimes. But why is there such fear.

A scheduled Pakatan Rakyat function here turned ugly last night when policemen attempted to stop Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from speaking, resulting in an angry mob attacking the police.

Anwar, who was the last speaker for the night, had spoken for about 13 minutes before the police intervened, as the PKR de facto leader was only given 15 minutes to speak.

The presence of a fully-armed 10-man Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) team did not sit with the crowd well, who mostly consisted of PR supporters. The crowd began throwing chairs and water bottles towards the police when they (the police) tried to stop Anwar from speaking.

Anwar himself had attempted to appeal to the crowd to calm down, but his voice was drowned by the sound of the 800-odd attendees.

PKR Youth Chief Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin confirmed that the police arrested a few PKR members.

"There were arrests, the AMK members are now at the Taman Melawati police station," Shamsul told reporters.

"The way that they reacted, in trying to arrest him tonight, it's uncalled for.

"People's patience has certain limits, reached its patience," said the PKR leader.

Anwar eventually left the function and was not arrested.

The Permatang Pauh MP wasted no time in mounting an offensive on the current sex video scandal, and accused Umno as well as the Najib administration of orchestrating a conspiracy to end his political career.

Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik has admitted that businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay, Perkasa's Datuk Shuib Lazim and himself were collectively the mysterious "Datuk T" behind Monday's screening of a sex video purportedly featuring Anwar with an unidentified woman.

The former Malacca chief minister also admitted that both he and Shazryl were behind the video.

He told reporters at a joint press conference together with Shazryl that the trio had chosen to step forward on their own accord because they wanted to show that "a person with high ambitions of wanting to be national leader and prime minister of Malaysia … was not qualified."

Abdul Rahim and Shazryl both denied the video was doctored.

"This Rahim is a criminal, a rapist but he is made a leader…they record pornography and they are free to walk.

"I was arrested and treated like a dog but you let them go free after recording statement," said Anwar, in reference to his overnight arrest on July 16, 2008.

He told the audience here that they needed to reject Umno to teach them a "lesson."

"They think we are stupid, teach Umno and BN leaders a lesson…tell them they are the idiots and fools," said Anwar.

David C. Schubert, the deputy district attorney who had prosecuted Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars for cocaine possession, was arrested last week… forcocaine possession.
Victoria Jackson, best known for her time on "Saturday Night Live" from 1986-92, has made the media rounds defending her recent claim on a right-wing blog that "Glee" is shoving "the gay thing down our throats" and making "a mockery of Christians" by including a male-male kiss in a recent episode (which might be the least gay thing "Glee" has ever done).
Ark Music Factory, the vanity label that released the profoundly awful YouTube sensation "Friday," has finally given a face to the vacuous industry that pop music so often becomes.
Last week, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld tweeted: "There's a reason Gadhafi isn't contemplating using a nuclear/radiological weapon today: He saw what happened to Saddam." A harmless logical fallacy until you remember that he led us into two wars we're still in! Funny, right?
Real estate mogul/reality show star Donald Trump expressed some interesting foreign policy ideas, namely to lease foreign countries land and then refuse use of it, a strategy that he once used with Gaddafi. Trump 2012!
Hugo Chavez, the controversial president of Venezuela and an outspoken critic of capitalism, recently remarked that it was entirely possible that life had existed once on Mars, but "maybe capitalism arrived there, imperialism arrived and finished off the planet."
Former Van Halen lead vocalist Sammy Hagar claimed in his new memoir that he was abducted by aliens. But the singer went on to explain in an interview that he believes aliens enacted a "download situation" on him in the foothills above Fontana. It's suspect that Hagar appears to be more impressed with the aliens' wireless technology than his supposed contact with extraterrestrial life.
Political whatever Newt Gingrich criticized President Obama earlier this month for not intervening in Libya: "All we have to say is that we think that slaughtering your own citizens is unacceptable and that we're intervening." But as soon as the U.S. took military action against Gaddafi's regime, Gingrich had a new line: "I would not have intervened." If the Republican Party wasn't so renowned for its intellectual honesty, it would almost seem as if a guy who hasn't held office for 13 years is attempting to remain relevant exclusively by criticizing his political enemy's every action without bothering to check whether it warrants it or not.
When singer Chris Brown went on "Good Morning America" this week and fielded some unexpected questions about his past domestic abuse, he took it out on his dressing room afterwards, throwing a chair through a window and tearing off his shirt. His demonstration of violence, coupled with his half-hearted mea culpa, lands him in the top spot this week, although equally deserving may be the producers of "Good Morning America," who invited him back on the show next week.

Here is Emmy Rossum showin' some boobies on the Showtime series "Shameless"with a blonde co-star checking out her twins. If you are like me then seeing Emmy Rossum walking around in only panties and getting fucked topless will make you happy. And she's not shy about letting the world see her goodies in HD either because she is all natural and it was a natural scene for the role. The 23-year-old actress, who plays William H. Macy's precocious 18-year-old daughter Fiona in the show, reveals not only that she is be naked, but naked "in HD".

"It's my first time being naked on screen so it is definitely a little stressful," says Rossum to reporters, adding, "but I think you just gotta rock whatever God gave you and be proud of it." You just have to love a girl with an attitude like that on nudity and just be proud of it. But the part where she say "it is definitely a little stressful" sounds a lot like complaining to me. And if it is stressful for her to be naked in HD, then why do you do it? Emmy lost me as a fan, I loved her in Phantom of the Opera, but now she is just another complaining set of breasts. However my penis is now a huge fan of her full-size talents. Enjoy! Click on pictures to enlarge.

CSL steps into dangerous terrortry foolishly...

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 01:42 AM PDT

The former Minister of Health whom I held in high esteem for outstanding performance at the Health/Hell Ministry, performs badly in sociological environment. Already confessed culprit in a sex video of him having sex with a woman NOT his wife, Chua dared Anwar Ibrahim to prove his innocence -- that s,he's NOT the man shown having sex with a woman as disclosed by Datuk T. (Aside, by none other than one-third of a composite Datuk T who escaped an alleged charge of statutory rape of a minor while serving as CEO of Malacca state because BN-UMNO bent the law to protect its toe-liners.) As expected Rahim Thamby Chik cheekily offered he felt that Anwar was not fit to be a potential Prime Minister; Desi chicly asked: So art thou better equippped to be a PM? Ready to step into Najib's shoes eh? YES? -- Leapfrogging over Muhyddin Yassin? NO?

mGf -- which stands for myGoOGfriend -- Donplaypuks aka ES Shankar has this short rebuff to CSL: "Saturday, 26 March 2011 14:52 posted by donplaypuks

"The onus is on Anwar to prove that he is not involved in the video and it is a golden opportunity for him to prove that he is innocent and give his fullest cooperation to the police in the course of the investigation," Dr Chua told reporters..."

Yet another BN/MCA Minister who doesn't know the Constitution or Law.

There is no onus on anyone to prove their innocence. It is up to the accuser and prosecution to prove the charge FIRST!!

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

In Sarawak, A Christian Groundswell - By Sheridan Mahavera.

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 01:32 AM PDT

When 3,000 Christians turned up for a prayer rally in Kuching this week it sent ripples running through Petrajaya, where gleaming structures house the Sarawak state government that is facing elections next month.

In a Christian-majority state where there has been little in the way of religious tension, the prayer rally was an unusual event.

It was a protest against the establishment which Christians have associated themselves with in the state.

The unhappiness with the Barisan Nasional (BN) government is palpable among Christians all over the country. But for it to be become so apparent in Sarawak is worrying BN politicians even in Putrajaya.

Through conversations with ordinary Christians, church officials and Christian Barisan Nasional supporters, a consensus emerged that though the dispute gnawed at their hearts, it would not tilt election results.

For now.

The prayer rally on March 23 has challenged that conclusion.

The 3,000-strong public rally is rare for the Christian community. Its leaders, compared to that of other religious communities, are usually adverse to controversy.

Its organisers and attendees were even slammed by Deputy Federal Minister Joseph Salang Gandum who urged Christians "not to make fools of themselves" over the stamping of Bibles.

A Sarawak Barisan Nasional activist who requested anonymity, maintains that the dispute does not resonate among ordinary Christians. That it is more of an issue among church leaders than the majority.

For those who attended the rally, it was more than just about stamped bibles. It was the collective expression of a community that feels its rights as guaranteed by the Constitution, are being taken away.

Pastor Jeff Wei, one of the rally's organisers, stressed that it was a non-partisan affair. The preachers who addressed the crowd in Bahasa Malaysia, Iban, English and Mandarin did not press them to vote for any particular party.

"Each pastor was given a particular topic to speak on and we all prayed to God to help resolve these problems," said Wei who was confident that the crowd included both BN and Pakatan Rakyat supporters.

The recurring theme was that the Christian community's right to worship and spread their faith was being steadily eroded.

It wasn't just the recent Al-Kitab issue that weighed upon attendees. It was also about the church-burnings of last year and the Government's insistence that the term Allah be reserved for Muslims.

It was also about the strictures against worshipping in the national language, Bahasa Malaysia, a practice in Sarawak ever since Christianity arrived at its shores.

One attendee described it as a collective stand against the small and gradual slights against the community that have occurred over the years.

"Christians have never spoken out before even on issues that affect us. We have been patient and tolerant for a long time."

But the tipping point came when the Home Ministry detained about 30,000 copies of Al Kitab in Kuching.

"Being in Sarawak Christians never really felt the tension that is usually felt between religions like in the Peninsula. Even during the Allah issue. But when the Bibles were seized in Kuching we really felt it," said another man, 44 who attended the rally.

The dispute that emerged from the seized Bibles punctured a certain exceptionalism felt by the Sarawakian Christian community based on its relatively harmonious relationship with the state's Muslims.

For instance, Sarawakian Christians continue to use the term Allah in their prayers in defiance of pressure by Peninsula-based Muslim groups for them to stop. Sarawakian Muslims apparently have no problems with this centuries-old practice.

Though it is still felt in Sarawak, the Allah issue is by-and-large considered a "Semenanjung-created problem" being fought over by conservative Semenanjung Muslims.

But when bibles in Sarawak and meant for Sarawak were seized by a Semenanjung-originating authority, it was as if a foreign power had invaded and started imposing alien values.

"It's as if our right to practice our faith was being repressed," said the 44-year-old.

Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong Wui Wui feels the BN is being willfully ignorant of the message that the rally was sending — that it's sign that Sarawak Christians are beginning to speak out against a perceived injustice.

"It has come to a point where they cannot just sit quiet anymore. They want something to be done. They want the government to uphold their freedom to practice their faith."

An actual groundswell of sentiment may be building in the community. Wei, of the Sarawak Ministers Fellowship, says the organisers have received requests to hold more of such rallies through-out Sarawak.

He admits that there is a political dimension to the rally given that it's set against the backdrop of the state elections.

"Our call is to anyone in power, whether it is BN or Pakatan, to uphold our right to practice as stated in the Constitution. Our message is that Christians must choose wisely and elect people who are justice-minded."

As with the rally, it is hard for politicians or church leaders to gauge how far-reaching the discontent will be on the elections.

A Catholic state government officer told The Malaysian Insider that though he is incensed by the Home Ministry's handling of the bibles, he is unsure whether it will be the prime mover behind his vote.

"You have to look all things not just the issue. You have to look at the party and your area's candidate."

But what is sure that the sentiments which fuel this ground swell are only beginning in Sarawak. It is quite possible other prayer rallies will be held beyond the shores of Sarawak and in time for the federal elections.

VIDEO: Twice in 20 minutes in a CIA safe house?

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 01:32 AM PDT

I was rather amused at the video which appeared in Apanama's blog which showed a little known serviced residence called Lanson Place. Apart from being a serviced  residence located smack in embassy row, it is also home to a rather large spa and massage centre, Sompoton Spa.

The banner located at the entrance indicates that the going rate for one of their famous massage sessions can be yours for RM99.

The video itself is rather vague about its subject but at the end it said 'Twice in 20 Minutes'...well that helped me to focus in on the target a bit better - it was, of course, a clear reference to the well known Opposition politician caught with his pants down and having his Dick 'n Jane.

VIDEO after the jump

Juicy stuff to be sure and I particularly like the toilet flushing sound effect that followed the zipper opening and hard breathing....

But even more juicy is a comment by long-time blogger and cybertrooper, Pasquale who suggested that 'Lansome Place', as he put it, is a CIA safe house.

I guess the Opposition politician is familiar and comfortable with the facility and layout and felt safe enough to organise his co-curricular activities there.

Well, we all prefer a place where everyone knows our name....

Anwar Ibrahim ~ Ceramah di Taman Melawati ~ 'Reformasi' bergema kembali!!!

Posted: 26 Mar 2011 01:27 AM PDT

Silap besar!

Sekarang Najib pula yang kena tanggung natijah salah perhitungan Rahim Thamby Chik dan rakan rakannya.
Lim Guan Eng pernah masuk penjara hanya kerana ingin membela mangsa kerakusan nafsu pemimpin Kerajaan Negeri Melaka terbabit.

Bukankah ini semua telah menjadi sejarah negara?

Kenapa bangang sangat nak cuba memerangkap Anwar dengan cara kotor?

Hello brader, raplah jingga betul!

Apakejadahnya nak suruh 1Malaysia tonton video lucah?

Bodoh betui!!!

Terlajak perahu boleh diundur, terlajak buat sial, tanggung saja natijahnya!!!
Orang lain yang berak tengah jalan, Najib Tun Razak pula terpalit najisnya!!!

Ish! Ish! Ish! Ish!

Kasihan.....
