P.Ramlee Lawan Khurafat. Mufti Perak Sokong Khurafat.

Semalam saya menonton Filem "Seniman Bujang Lapok".

MUFTI PERAK PULA PERTAHAN AMALAN KHURAFAT

Kim Kardashian posted this photos spoke about her recent experience posing for Playboy, and played down her status as a sex symbol.

Kimberly Noel Kardashian (born October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California) is an American stylist, apparel retailer and television personality. She is best known for her social life, sex tape, and her appearances on reality show Keeping Up with the
Kim Kardashian posted this photo and asked, "#2sexy2tweet?" on Thursday.
The answer depends on your point of view.
Kardashian, modeling for a supposedly jewelry-focused fashion shoot, posted this picture of herself, her skin, her cleavage — and not much more. Which is funny, considering her recent comments.
Kim, covering February's issue of Glamour, spoke about her recent experience posing for Playboy, and played down her status as a sex symbol.
"I don't find myself as sexy as everyone thinks," she said. "I'm a lot more insecure than people would assume, but with little stupid things. When I get dressed, I'm always so indecisive."
Apparently, not that insecure.
PHOTO

The only reasons that she is famous are because her father got a murderer off and she got another guy off by letting him face fuck her and cum in her mouth on video only after he fucked her up the vag and especially the asshole. Now she is pretending she has an intact hymen and all of a sudden above it now. Don't be fooled by the slut… Kim loves the attention. Simply put, she absolutely need the attention. Despite the public complaining Kim is undoubtedly getting paid for the new picture release, if she hasn't already been paid for this release in the 2007 contract. Kim claiming to be upset is just a way to help promote the pictures on Playboy.comfurther, and helps get some attention whore publicity for herself while at it. Just like getting paid millions to complain about the release of an intimate "leaked" sex tape while signing a release for the tape's distribution. Click on pictures to enlarge.

Big Dog under attack!

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 09:29 AM PST

Blogger Zakhir the 'Big Dog' is under attack for his 'continuous attack' on Rais Yatim and for what he and a few 'top hit' bloggers have purportedly marginalised co-bloggers as one forming the ELITE group them while the rest are just 'nyamuk'.

The Gelombang Wangsa Maju team is getting fed up with such labeling, it seems. Posted under 'Big Dog running wild... or did ya have gone mad', the confrontation (I was made to understand) stemmed from a gathering at Shah Village, PJ a few months back.

"Perhaps ... the Ministry of Information should have given scope of work and an accurate description the duties, roles and responsibilities of a Minister of Information ... to this 'elite blogger'.

What exactly is 'their' problem with Rais Yatim? ...

Maybe ... there are misundertanding between these elite bloggers hence it is so damn difficult to forgive the sin committed by Rais Yatim?

Maybe ... Rais Yatim has blacklisted them from any event involving the Ministry of Information as a result of misunderstandings both sides.
"

But what is this ELITE and 'NON-ELITE' bloggers? I dont really understand it.

Brothers, let us sit down and settle it once and for all. Not nice lor... after all, pro-govt blogger should remain united.

Revolusi Tunisia Dijana oleh Blogger

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 08:51 AM PST

Mengikut pendedahan Wikileaks:

¶1. (S) According to Transparency International's annual
survey and Embassy contacts' observations, corruption in
Tunisia is getting worse. Whether it's cash, services, land,
property, or yes, even your yacht, President Ben Ali's family
is rumored to covet it and reportedly gets what it wants.
Beyond the stories of the First Family's shady dealings,
Tunisians report encountering low-level corruption as well in
interactions with the police, customs, and a variety of
government ministries. The economic impact is clear, with
Tunisian investors -- fearing the long-arm of "the Family" --
forgoing new investments, keeping domestic investment rates
low and unemployment high (Refs G, H). These persistent
rumors of corruption, coupled with rising inflation and
continued unemployment, have helped to fuel frustration with
the GOT and have contributed to recent protests in
southwestern Tunisia (Ref A). With those at the top believed
to be the worst offenders, and likely to remain in power,
there are no checks in the system. End Summary.

Kalau kita banding kerajaan Ben Ali dengan UMNO, apa bezanya?

Kerajaan Ben Ali : Korup, harga barang semakin naik, kadar pengangguran semakin tinggi

Kerajaan Najib Razak: Korup, harga barang naik, kadar pengangguran semakin tinggi.

Isu Azan Kerinchi: Sepatutnya Najib Juga Wajib Ditahan ISA Seperti Teresa Kok

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 08:08 AM PST

Sekian

PAS umum Exco Muslimat pusat calon kerusi DUN Tenang

BN/Pakatan “..”Want,Used and Needs”

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 06:47 AM PST

This is a reposts as mosts of our writers/contributors are down with viral flu and finding it difficult to even get out of bed.  So much has happened in the political sphere and we need to remind ourselves "Where are we in all this equation..??" You choose the political alliance you wish to be associated with and no one can take away your CITIZENS RIGHT.

We are so Confused.

Where is the line that is drawn in politics. There isn't and one will go all out just to get the ' desired result " More questions and yet there are no pre-determined answers for these group of young aspiring political upstarts. The most common question that is unplucked from the brain cells of these group in which Natasha and Joey of audie61 squeezed out were the simplest English terms of,"Want,Used and Needs"

They asked similar questions of What does BN want from you? Is Pakatan making used of you? Who needs you more BN/Pakatan? In the whole context these questions looks harmless but in the defining world of politics they will probably mean where does these young mind go from here on.

Try asking yourself these questions infront of the mirror. It has to be immediatedly after saying good morning to yourself before you even brush your teeth. When you have done that and read these its time you leave your comments. Don't just think that you are EXEMPTED from this tasks. Don't fool yourself as you will be a greater fool nevertheless. You will do yourself justice by fulfilling this simple yet as effective as A,B,C.

To protect the anonimity of our political boys we will not use names. In this interview with Natasha she stumbled upon a young teenage political machai or running"dog".He was so disillusioned with the world of politics that he just decided to give up on the platform that he vouched that could bring him his future. A BN component party was his desired ship where many promises were dished out like gift vouchers. He swore by the institution that he followed and even raised his fists with outcries of 'A Malaysia for all"

The promises many a time were whispered into his ears to push him to go the extra mile by very senior and veterans of the party who has seen past glory days. How unfortunate for these young brash and cocky upstarts to filter through their hands and to be so disillusioned so young and so fast. Is this what he wanted? Didn't he feel used and are his needs being looked after?

Meanwhile Joey was so captivated by the  lady who feels that Pakatan used her to achieve their aims. She was in the frontline doing all the necessary works, designs and finalising speeches for functions and yet she did not complain. Did she not? Did she do it just to fulfill what she has set out to do? To ensure that the government under Pakatan was so much better than the former BN administration was her priority.

Alas, power achieved the directions somewhat were not like the dreams that she has woken up to in the middle of the night.Used or has she not come to terms that governing is so much different from shouting slogans on election ceramahs. She is perplexed and confused and has not woken up to the believe that Pakatan is ruling in her state. Its not so much USED but too much, too little time to swallow.

There are many political boys who are really at crossroads and are wondering with anticipation that they are really needed now more than ever. These second echelon leaders are waiting for the invitation cards for them to make their moves either into a higher more respectable position within the BN/Pakatan hierarchy. They have put in many years of solid and hard training years plus all the efforts to get themselves recognisable in their parties. The time has come for them to be united under one umbrella.

They might belong to different parties with different ideologies crossed warpaths but now they see themselves in just one big family. Do they make that switch? Are they willing to make this united stand," There are NO ENEMIES IN POLITICS BUT IT"S A WAY OF LIFE.DOG EAT DOG" They see a NEED for them to belong but who needs them more and this time for real its not a journey to regret.

The two party system is upon us and these young upstarts have their choices and they need not be used but wanted and who they join is a matter of who will give them that PLATFORM TO SHINE. Afterall the young loves to be showered with praises but it has got to be sincere.

Still confused?

Are you one of the many young political upstarts who has seemingly trudged into the shadowy world of politics. Its your choice and this is not a mere journey for the faint hearted and its a tough and gruelling way ahead. You will find your feet at times submerged in virtually impossible circumstances which needs the political acumen to get you out of the sticky situation.

There are many seasoned politicians who has ventured into these path but are so afraid that these young goons will outshine them and they will not give their 'untold secrets"Are they selfish?  Harvard they say to these young upstarts does not give you the ground training in politics and these you have to earn your stripes. What chances do they have unless they are used to their potential. Its the simple words of want, used and need again dont you think so.

Is the line drawn clearer? What chances do you give the young to choose. is it a 50/50 now for them? What are the political parties available for them? Is it UMNO,PKR,PBB,DAP,PAS,PRS.PBS.SPDP,SUPP,MIC.Gerakan.LDP,PBS,UPKO.SAPP,PBRS,SNAP,PPP..? BN or Pakatan will be no diferent if the "kitchens and bathrooms" of these political parties are not CLEANED UP to accomodate these young and unknowing individuals who are about to embark on a life full of intriques and man made mysteries.

Just ask the wanted ones especially Tengku Razaleigh( WANT )  ( who says that his heart is still with UMNO) Zaid Ibrahim ( NEEDS ) (feels that his platform in UMNO is curbed),Chua Jui Meng ( NEEDS )  ( who leaves MCA after nearly 33 years and joins PKR for another stint to stay relevant)  What about the many thousands of political boys/girls and machais who are USED..? Still confused… Better not be as in politics there are NO POLITICAL PRISONERS and once you become irrelevant you either stay out of it or Get ready to be Guillotined.

Any young soul would want to  know why they are joining politics but usually the ones who brings them in don't even tell them what the political parties constitution stands for? They sign the application form willingly or unwillingly and that is open to interpretations. Hmmm..This is the line which BN/Pakatan have to address as this proverb "TRUE GOLD FEARS NOT THE TEST OF FIRE" in which the bests will be able to survive while the rests will be thrown into scrapheap and left to rot.

The boat (parties or coalition BN/Pakatan) in which the political members who make the boat must be willing partners in the same boat rowing against the current and tide and every able person must pull the oars to move the boat forward. If there is a snowball effect it will only be too destructive to save and as usual we must have a check and balance system.

We are already within reach of 2020 a developed nation for our country and as such we know that with success often breeds failure because it makes you arrogant, complacent and, therefore you will ultimatedly lower your guard. Our young malaysian political upstarts needs to nurtured to be wanted and needed and not discrded after being used. This is the failure for our poltical system and it goes without saying to some," ONLY THE BESTS WILL SURVIVE"

My friends please  look into the mirror every morning and tell that to me or to your close ones that you deserve better or is better than what makes you that special to lead the country or give your "WANTED AND NEEDED" service to help the rakyat of the country.

The voters will know now and there are no more hiding places for those who thrive on POLITICAL ILLUSIONS to stay afloat in the coming political avalanche.

It goes without saying,"It is only reserved for the bests and those who aspire and willing to work hard. " BN/Pakatan don't fool yourselves anymore as with a flick of the pen/pencil you will be Ooooooooout……..and  Removed from your Constituency.

So are you one of those who is WANTED,NEEDED or justs being USED……..

Tetap apa nak buat.

Jadi lembu? Atau kerbau untuk membajak? Atau apa?

Sampai bila keadaan ini akan berterusan? jawab setengah anak muda sekarang, "lu pikirlah sendiri"

a fRiend's concern and advice ...:)

THANKS, SDR JON ASMEN!:)

This former school mate of mine and I used to ... the class from Forms 1 to 3, then we arrived at crossroads at the young age of 15. Read ROBERT FROST's The Road Not Taken I posted up a few days back.

When he read about my FACE-OFF with the Great RPK, he was among the first few concerned fRiends to ring me to "check if Desi is OK?" I humbly told him I am a used to travelling "lonely and lonesome" journeys as a WRIThER. Survival is definitely in the genes of even a church-mousey wan like me who started earning pocket money in Form 2 owing to great inspiration of TWO GREAT ENGLISH TEACHERS, Mr CP Rajah and Mr V Thillainathan -- I hope thou art fine and wellA, wherever thou art!

Jon moved on to RMC and I stayed back at our common Secondary School in Furong. I envied Jon, but God is always greAt because where I missed out,a younger brother made it to Royal Military College, but that's another story...

What binds our fRiendship is that we NEVER FORGET THAT "R" among fRiends:), and often we kept in touch through good and bad times, through the crests and ebbs of human waves of coursng through this physical world, and also the spiritual.

Jon dropped by in Seremban to meet at the clean and fRiendly Temiang Corner where it's my usual water hole. No, we did KNOT down beer and ale and eat the chocolate and cheese cakes they serve the Lords and Rajas at London hotels. We bantered a while and then became serious in common debate about Frostie's crossroads -- the poem says there were ONLY TWO ROADS AHEAD to pick one at this important junction.

Jon, after seeing that Desi's quite quiet because he's (YES, I OFTEN REFER TO MYSELF IN THE 3rd person when not functioning as a Journalist, and especially writing as a Blogger or creative pieces as well peceived by those who have been reading my cyber-pieces from that fateful Ides of March -- March 15, 2005.)

I suggest newer readers to read my posts in that first year from FIRSTofMAY, especially the Sunday columns I started writing every week for an East Malaysian newspaper to supplement my freelance income. Hey, we can't eat Roti Canai and drink tehtarik everyday, though Everyday milk is good for you. I occasonally indulge myself in the bestA kambing rendang at Lingam's where two Blogger buddies who used to sail the se7en seas and Desi often meet. YES, BUMmers here, dare, and everywhere! ~~<>Ancient Mariner and Mindful Mariner. Bless the former soulmatey not with us physically for real BUMmer Capt Yusof Ahmad, departed to be with The Lord (Allah) just slightly more a year ago. But Sdr Stuart R. is still around to sometimes keep Desi company -- but we aweways miss AM's heartful guffaws and jokes, sometimes salty.
Okay, back to reality world. After periods of silence in between shared rumination, he said: "Desi, you are not facing just TWO roads ahead. There is a third!"

I'm still pondering my THIRD OPTION. "We will see," I smiled as Jon took leave as he went back to his kampong in Rembau to do a needful detour.

PS: I'm not inviting public Comments for this Post; any close buddies -- you know where to post Desi -- who wish to say Hi-Lo can emale Desi!:)

MEMORY LANE REVISITED WITH ALFRED HO

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 12:33 AM PST

Remember our coming-of-age years? Those were the good old days. Music played a huge part in my life when I was in high school and Form 6. Remember the EPs and LPs, Top of the Pops and Dick Clark's American Bandstand? I spent hours listening to chart-toppers, and spent a bomb buying copies of teen magazines just to swoon over pictures of my favourite teen idols, especially Ricky Nelson.

My prized possession at the time was my huge collection of song books. I had compiled thousands of pages of handwritten lyrics of Billboard's Top 40 songs. I knew the words of every single hit and enjoyed singing along whenever they were played on the radio or the turntable. Those 1960s hits have become classics of yesteryears.

Then came the university years. My songbooks were soon replaced with reference books. I lost touch with pop music, and much later discovered another genre of music that was darker and less innocent. But that's another story.

Fond memories of those teenage years came flooding back again last Tuesday, courtesy of Alfred Ho, 61, guitarist and singer extraordinaire. When I heard that Alfred was playing at Ole Skool Bistro, I knew I just had to be there.
I had such a blast that night, singing and dancing to Alfred's rendition of evergreens. His music makes you want to snap your fingers, move your feet and sing along. It has that feel-good effect on his listeners. You can feel the passion, the energy of this man as you watch him on that little stage, sitting all alone on the stool, guitar in hand. When his fingers start plucking the strings and as he sings the first few notes, you know you are in the presence of a genuine legendary performer.

Here's a sampling of Alfred's music videos:

Blind since the age of three, Alfred's visual impairment has not stopped him from having a vision of his future. He hopes to perform in Las Vegas one day. All he needs is someone to give him a break. Ted Williams got his, why not Alfred?

While waiting for that break, Alfred has another dream too that's closer to home. He wants to start a cafe where he can share his love of good music and good food with good company. A place where older folks (like you and me) can relax and feel right at home, and where everybody is a friend.

If you want to help turn Alfred's dream cafe into a reality, do watch this space. Seniorsaloud will keep you posted on Alfred's upcoming concert. In the meantime, do support him by showing up at Ole Skool Bistro, Jalan Gasing, PJ. Alfred plays there every Tuesday till end of February. His CDs are on sale at all his performances.

For more about Alfred, his music and his story, click here. Alfred also performs at private functions. His extensive repertoire includes Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Vietnamese songs. You can contact him at 03-7984 8560 / 016-635 9800 or e-mail him at alfredho.music@gmail.com

Azan, Temple & Church Bells etc - Are they irritating you?

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 12:06 AM PST

...not to me .....!!!!

This article is from my book 'The Quran and I' - chapter 3

Bob Agency

Of some apostles We have already told thee the story;
of others We have not …Quran 4:164

I grew up accustomed to Chinese drums and Hindu temple bells and the experience made me a Muslim who loves the Quran more than any other book in the world.

Let me tell you why …

I grew up on Evergreen Road, Fettes Park Penang. From Fettes Road turning into Evergreen Road, you will need to battle a short slope uphill where we kids needed to paddle standing up while riding our bicycles and ladies got off to push theirs till the road flattens 10 meters ahead – about 100 meters later you will pass my house, house number 14.

There is an empty space almost triangular in shape where the two roads meet. At the centre of that empty land stood a large tall leafy bee infested tree with red colored nuts sprouting from the branches. On one side of the empty land was a row of shop-houses. On its corner lot wall the words NEW BOB AGENCY in red bold capital letters greeted the Fettes Park community. So we call that little corner piece of land - Bob Agency. Across the road from Bob Agency stood two temples; one Chinese and the other Hindu.

Bob Agency for the better part of the year was left empty but the piece of land comes alive twice a year when the Chinese temple organizes Chinese Operas (Teng Lang Kho Tai) especially during the Hungry Ghost Festivals. Usually the first two days it would be the Chinese Opera (we use to call it The Tong Tong Tong Cheng! Show) followed by two days of modern bands belting the latest Chinese numbers and some popular western songs. I especially love it when the emcee announced something like "Andy Gibb chang terk, Shallow Lancing!" .

Each year the temple committee, both Hindu and Chinese will go house to house to request donation either for the upkeep, repair and temple improvement or for projects like the Hungry Ghost festivals or Thaipusam. Each time my Mom will ask me to tell them politely that as Muslims we cannot donate to a 'Tokong'. Besides, we actually did not have any extra cash anyway! Ha!ha!

They too were polite and understanding and just moved away wishing me thank you regardless. I did not question my mom's reasoning as I took it as true; not until 1977 when the Penang State Government was building the Penang State Mosque when I was 13.

It was announced that Loh Boon Siew the big Towkay of Penang donated RM 1 Million to the building of the state mosque. But wait a minute. We cannot give but we can take? That does not sound right, in fact it is unfair. My mom had no answers so I brought it up during agama class in school. After all, it will not be the first time I was asked to leave the class anyway- so what's another period of wondering around the school (my eldest sister was not allowed to be in agama class at all during certain years in her school life; also for asking many questions!).

Honestly, I was not a bad boy. In fact I have won the agama prize for being top in school. But I had questions that needed real solid answers. And, I do not give up easily!

Poor Ustazah. I asked her if I could donate to temples and her answer was a firm 'No'. We can't give but we can accept? I told her that my religion sounds unfair and I cannot accept her answer as my Jid told me Islam is the most just religion in the world.

I refused to accept the answer and kept on harping on the RM 1 million from Loh Boon Siew. Finally she relented and said that if we were to give any donations to the 'Tokong', we must 'niat' that it is money we ' buang ke dalam sungai'. I told her 'Ustazah dah merepet'.

She was by then in tears and it did not help that my classmates were cheering with drum beats – thumping the table top. She rushed out of the class and the rank cheered, the class went into the usual rumpus of school boys without supervision… but it did not last for long.

She returned with Ustaz Mahyudin, whom we were all scared shit of! And he was not alone; he brought his friend a handsome one meter rotan. He banged the rotan on the teacher's table a few times, we were dead silent. He uttered a few words of warning, and left.

Actually Ustaz Mahyudin was a kind and nice man, in fact I have never seen him use the rotan on anyone. I had good conversations with him, and he allowed differing opinions although he was worried of my constant questioning of the status quo. He treated Non-Muslims kindly too, and with respect.

I did not get my answer until I was in university when I took to reading the Quran and Muslim history for myself. I discovered a verse that said:

'WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure: those who, when they are to receive their due from [other] people, demand that it be given in full, but when they have to measure or weigh whatever they owe to others, give less than what is due! Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the dead? [and called to account] on an awesome Day (Quran 83: 1-5)

I also discovered that early Muslim leaders created a peaceful environment so that people from various faiths can practice their way of life. In fact state money was used to build, repair and support the building of not just the mosque but also Non- Muslim places of worship. The Muslim army has a duty to defend all places of worship as commanded by the Quran:

(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is God.. Did not God check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of God is commemorated in abundant measure. God will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily God is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will). Quran 22:40

In the mid 90s I bought a condo unit in Sunway. Beside the wonderful square swimming pool, the other attractions were a Hindu and Chinese temple right in front of the guard house and a mosque just behind the corner. In the morning you can hear the azan, the temple bells and every now and then I get to smell Chinese incense bringing me back memories of growing up in Fettes Park near Bob Agency. The only missing link was a church. Each morning, each evening, each nite – each day that condo where I stayed for a good many years reminds me of another Quranic announcement. It is as though the Quran spoke to me directly,

"To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what God hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way? If God had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to God. it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute (Quran 5:48)

Thank You Bob Agency, Thank You Evergreen Road, Thank You Fettes Park, Thank You Penang, Thank You Malaysia! Thank you for helping me see the world the way God wanted me to see it.

Thank You God!

'Bimbang K'tan dirampas halang PAS laksana hudud'

Posted: 15 Jan 2011 09:27 PM PST

[Raja Petra] Khairy Seharusnya Berdebat Dengan Pemimpin Yang Sama Taraf Dengannya

Posted: 15 Jan 2011 06:34 PM PST
