Zaid Ibrahim: A Trojan Horse?

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 02:08 PM PST

It was quite disturbing listening to a bunch of lawyers openly chastising Zaid to some of my friends during last Friday's happy hours session.
They claimed that Zaid was paid between RM10-15M to stir up some mess within PKR. That was exactly the same piece of rumor that have been circulating around running up to PKR party election. At the same time, there was this piece of rumor that Azmin and gang have purportedly received RM 200M for their quest to take control of the party.
What really puzzles me then was why so much attention was given to Zaid's while Azmin's was treated like a non-event by some bloggers, word of mouths and even the mainstream media.
Perhaps, it is time to question ourselves following the chain of events that have had happened.
1. The mainstream media biased reporting favoring Azmin should raise this question. Who has the control over the mainstream media? I don't think I need to spell this out..
2. If someone plans to plant a trojan horse, what would the best way to do that? Obviously, it is for the trojan horse to remain in the party. Zaid quits PKR and what good is a trojan horse when he is not within. It just doesn't make any sense at all.
And now, they are confirming that Zaid is the trojan horse just because he is going to form a new party soon.
It tells me that the mainstream media has been very successful this time. People are now beginning to question PR's ability to run the country. They can even blatantly point to one isolated corruption case involving PR's candidate and generalizes that there's no difference between BN and PR without even making any effort to compare it's rampancy and action taken against the wrongdoer.
This is exactly what is happening on the street. This is exactly how gullible most Malaysians are. Just constantly bombard them with the same propaganda and lies can become truth. Amazing, right?
Now back to the trojan issue, lets take a look at Pas for example. Each time when the tide went against BN, we would be getting Hadi Awang or Nasharuddin coming out with damaging statement as to provide check and balances to the sentiment. Islamic state or unity talks and whatnot. Isn't that the duty of a trojan horse? They hold leadership in Pas and yet they cant even win the seat they contested in, let alone the Trengganu state. Peculiar, isn't it?
And if PKR or DAP is not careful, I am afraid they would be in the same situation given all the recent upheavals that has been happening running up to their respective party's election. These trojans are making their moves strongly. Obviously, there are lots of money involved here and who has all the money and power to do so?
At the end of the day, it is the people who would be sucked and fucked in all these political play.
What choice do we have now? PR definitely cant takeover Putrajaya in the next general election. At best, they can deny BN a two-third majority.
What we can do is to give The Third Force a chance if there is any that is coming up. The Third Force that is going to provide the check and balances in the lawmaking process leaning towards the interest of the nation and the people.
An idea too far-fetched it may seems.. It wont be if we put our mind into it and make that little effort.
Lets do it for the 14th GE. What Say You?

Two Facinating Trips Up South...Southern Thailand

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 11:23 AM PST

I have visited southern Thailand many times since I was nine when my father was posted as headmaster in a school in Kroh (now called Pengkalan Hulu). Just across the nearby border is the Thai town of Betong. Over the years, to me south Thailand became synonymous with Betong, Hatyai, Golok and once Satun. No, you thought wrong; in fact don't even think! Last week I had occasion to visit Pattani and some surrounding towns deeper into south Thailand and it was an eye-opener to say the least.

What was supposed to be a day trip to Hatyai to visit someone in hospital

Malaysian Government finally blocking Pedestrian Infidel

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 06:55 AM PST

And did I mention that Malaysia's government is also vastly hypocritical?  After swearing up and down and round and round to never, ever censor the net, the Muslim Malaysian government shows how much they lie, lie, lie by blocking yet another website that does not follow their Islamic party line.

That's right, folks, the Malaysian Government is now, as of today, blocking Pedestrian Infidel inside Malaysia. We are in actuality deeply honored, as we join the ranks of sites like Faith Freedom and other esteemed sites that deemed 'too dangerous' for Malaysians to read.

This continues the lengthy Malaysian slash Muslim proclivity  to silence voices that have the temerity to criticise Islam.  As if a supposed non corporeal supreme being like 'Allah' needs to be 'protected' from criticism.  Laughable, but remember, Muslims take this sort of shite absolutely seriously--after all, orders from their 'prophet' command Muslims to murder or otherwise silence the voice of anyone who is less than laudatory of Islam.

Malaysia's ruling Muslims will have to do better than this to shut us up!

DOWN THE ALLEYS IN TAIPEI

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 06:11 AM PST

Taking a short break in Taipei with the family. Only had time to check out some street food today. Unfortunately Internet access isn't free at our downtown hotel, so am keeping posts short and brief.

The best food is to be found in the side streets and alleys. Beef, pork, chicken cooked the way grandma used to. Pity I don't eat meat.

Tastes better than it looks - wantan soup and my bowl of dry noodles with thick sesame sauce.

The queue for these buns was so long, we gave up waiting to get some.

Hot sweet potatoes - simply yummy!
 My two granddaughters hamming it up while I enjoy what's left of the sweet potatoes.

I have no idea what snack this is - pieces of strange food floating in some liquid. Taiwan yong toufu?

If you think these are clothes for kids, take another look. They are actually designer wear for doggies!
 Street fashion for the street-smart. Love the boots. Saw some trendy ones going for only RM50!

More photos tomorrow...

Parents Lodge Complaint Over SPM Invigilator Who Insulted Students In Exam Hall - By Sarban Singh.

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 05:26 AM PST

A police report has been lodged against a teacher who allegedly made racist remarks in front of some 180 students at a school examination hall in Lukut, near here, on Wednesday morning.

Teluk Kemang MIC Youth chief A. Achutan led a group of parents from SM Raja Jumaat to lodge the report at the district police station here yesterday.

The woman teacher, assigned to the school as chief invigilator for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia examination, has since apologised to the students but the parents decided on the police report as "we do not want such an incident to recur."

A parent, M. Prabhakaran, alleged that the teacher had told some students who had been noisy before the examination to "return to China and India."

"The teacher was apparently making an announcement over the microphone when she made the remarks. She seemed annoyed when some of the students paid no heed to what she was saying," said Prabhakaran, adding that she had allegedly repeated the racist remarks several times.

"The students were disturbed by what she said. How can you make such remarks before teenagers, especially when they are about to sit for an examination?" he asked, adding that the students then reported the matter to school headmaster Cheah Les Ngan.

Prabhakaran, who teaches at another school, said the headmaster and several teachers met the invigilator over the issue and advised her to return to the hall and apologise to the students.

Neither Cheah nor state education director Abdul Halim Abdul Talib, who was away, could be reached for comments.

District police chief Supt Baljeet Singh confirmed that a report had been lodged and said the police would record statements from the relevant people.

The incident here followed two high-profile cases involving two principals in Johor and Kedah, both of whom were suspended and then removed from their schools after allegedly making racist remarks against their students.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz told Parliament early this month that it was the first time in the civil service that government officials had been cited for racism.

"90% Aduan Adalah Untuk Peringkat Pemilihan Cabang2" - Sumber Dalaman PKR

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 06:36 AM PST

Tulang Besi (TB): Assalamualaikum saudara X

Saudara X (SX) : Waalaikumsalam.

SX: No comment

SX: Sama-sama.

Protest, anti-Anwar newsletter mar opening

Posted: 26 Nov 2010 09:50 PM PST

The opening of the seventh PKR national congress was marred by a short protest against alleged irregularities in the recently-concluded party elections and appearance of anti-Anwar Ibrahim literature. About 50 people, mostly ethnic Indians claiming to be from the Kota Raja PKR division, led by former Selangor PKR treasurer KS Kotappan held a protest with banners with scathing criticism against Anwar, the party leader, and newly elected deputy president Azmin Ali. Also present at the dinner were Wushu Federation of Malaysia president Datuk Seri Kee Yong Wee and other MCA leaders.

Kee said the federation hoped wushu could be promoted to all.

"Although Malaysia did not win any medals in the last Olympic Games, our first medal in the next Games may come from wushu," he said.

Ucapan Mari Kita Makan Kek

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 01:43 AM PST

27 Nov 2010

Adakah ianya benar-benar salah? Apa yang salah: Kalori? Tiada tanda halal Jakim?

Hari ini, sempena semangat 16 November yang saya sebutkan tadi, saya ingin mengajak kita semua untuk sama-sama membebaskan fikiran dari belenggu sifat Politik Ketakutan dan Kelesuan, or what I call the Politics of Fear and Fatigue, dan menuju Politik Harapan dan Pembebasan, atau the Politics of Hope and Liberation.

And since it's the new year, apa kata kalau kita tuliskan satu "Resolusi Tahun Baru Rakyat Untuk Kerajaan Malaysia"?

Don't be afraid, we're just eating cake!

Marilah Kita Makan Kek! Let's All Eat Cake!

Sekian, wassalam.

*****

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera.

Last Oct 16th, a small movement began on Facebook. Anonymously, without much fanfare, yet it immediately captured our imaginations.

In just over a month, this movement has become a small phenomenon that has attracted over 260,000 'likes' on Facebook.

One month later, the "1M Malaysians Reject 100-storey Mega Tower" group had hoped to take their work one step further beyond cyberspace. Last Nov 16th, in conjunction with this non-hierarchical group's one month anniversary, Malaysians had come out to various public places to eat cake.

But, as we know, the authorities, be they the police, security guards, or even the university administration had decided that: Eating Cake Is Wrong!

But is it really wrong? What is wrong: The calories? The absence of Jakim's halal stickers? The lack of permit to eat cake in public?

Or: is it wrong to be open minded to envision a Malaysia that is better, that is more rational, that is more equitable?

Is it wrong by law to think for one's self? Surely NOT!

So today, coupled with the spirit of Nov 16th which I mentioned just now, I would like to invite one and all to open and free our minds from the Politics of Fear and Fatigue, and aspire towards the Politics of Hope and Liberation.

Even though much that has taken place in this country may have kept our spirits down, there is in fact much for us to celebrate and have hope in:

  • the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, who has faced the Myanmar military regime ceaselessly these past 20 years! How brave and noble her spirit is.
  • The peaceful completion of the PKR party polls, even though there is surely much that still needs to be corrected
  • the end of a year full and fraught with challenges, yet still productive, which has made us hungry – hungry for positive change, hungry for economic equality and so forth… and also… hungry for the right to eat cake without hindrance or harassment from anyone!

And so, ladies and gentlemen, I hereby invite you to join me to eat cake in Putrajaya on the Jan 1st 2011!

And since it's the new year, what say you we write up a "Rakyat's New Year Resolutions for the Malaysian Government"? We can deliver it as a memorandum to the Office of the Prime Minister on Jan 1st 2011. So, if you have any ideas, please do let us know or email to letsalleatcake2010 at gmail dot com.

Let us start this new year with new dreams, new spirit, and these delicious cakes that will surely give us new energy with which we can realise all these aspirations!

Don't be afraid, we're just eating cake!

Marilah Kita Makan Kek! Let's All Eat Cake!

Thank you.

Datuk Seri Najib Razak said Mahathir’sThird Force with R.P.K is a plus to Barisan

Posted: 27 Nov 2010 12:44 AM PST

— Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today the emergence of the so-called "Third Force" in Parti Keadilan Rakyat shows dissatisfaction with the PKR leadership."Whether they remain a third force (within PKR) or leave to join the party Datuk Zaid (Ibrahim) wants to form or enter Umno … it all stamps from the crisis gripping the party (PKR)," he told reporters

Raja Petra Kamarudin

I once attended a talk in the Perdana Leadership Foundation back in 2007 where Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad commented that nowadays politicians employ spin-doctors to do spin doctoring. "I don't know how to do spin doctoring," said Dr Mahathir, and he went on to say that when he was prime minister he never applied this method.

When Dr Mahathir said this, Tengku Razaleigh Hamazh, who was in the audience, turned around and looked at me and smiled. Dr Mahathir also stole a glance at me, which prompted many in the audience to also look my way.

I happened to be standing up at that time so I stood out like a sore thumb. Clearly Dr Mahathir aimed that comment at me while Tengku Razaleigh was trying to tell me, "He is talking about you."

Anyway, for the sake of Dr Mahathir, I will show him an example of a classic piece of spin doctoring. And the piece by Syed Jaymal Zahiid and Rahmah Ghazali, published in Free Malaysia Today, which you can read below, is spin doctoring.

The way to do it is to get armchair political analysts with impressive academic titles in front of their name — like Professor Shamsul Amri and Ong Kian Ming — to make a statement and then pass this off as the gospel. Since they are lecturers and professors of universities then no one will question their opinion.

So, if they say that Zaid Ibrahim is going to lead this phantom movement called the Third Force then it must be true. After all, these are big names from so-called leading organisations and universities that don't appear in the top 100 list.

Now it's confirmed. Zaid Ibrahim is going to lead the Third Force. Who are those in the Third Force I don't know, but these armchair analysts do. And I don't know whether those in the so-called Third Force, if it does exist, want Zaid to lead them, but these people do.

Syed Husin, who is also an appointed PKR senator, also chided party detractors who went public with internal matters and resorted to engaging the "media belonging to an enemy".

Again, without naming any specific individual, he appeared to be referring to Zaid who had spoken about the alleged party electoral irregularities in an interview with Umno-controlled Utusan Melayu.

"Whether they realise this or not, they have become a tool, not only for that media, but for those opponent parties whose sole purpose is to destroy us.

"They are like wolf in sheep's clothing. But thank God, with their own doing, they make themselves vulnerable. Eventually, they hang themselves with their own ropes," he said.

The ongoing squabble within PKR, he added, would not leave a deep wound.

"We will heal the wounds by moving forward and strengthening ourselves for Putrajaya," he said.

Most of the PKR members say they are sick and tired of the BN and are thirsty of the new 'changes' promoted by the Pakatan. A majority of them even say they hate Pak Lah's administration. Ever since political tsunami during the 2008 general election, Pakatan had prevailed in by-elections after by-elections. A good example is where the opposition nailed Barisan in the Permatang Pauh election. Many have come up with various theories of why BN lost and Pakatan / Anwar won. Some say that BN lost because Permatang Pauh was Anwar's stronghold. Some even continued to blame Pak Lah and his son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin. They claim that the people have rejected Umno and now are demanding for changes.

"Over the years, some leaders have left us but the party is still intact." we dont understand whyhttp://www.malaysia-today.net/ loves to have oral sex with PKR

According to others, however, the whole idea of Pakatan being a unity of hate is quite untrue. For example, this situation is not the same for PAS. There are people who support PAS because they love the party and its cause, which is to form an Islamic country.

IS IT THAT EMPTY VESSELS MAKE THE MOST NOISE LIKE THE THIRD FORCE

Recently, Malaysia Today blogger, Raja Petra Kamarudin commented that Pakatan Rakyat was forged out of hatred for Barisan Nasional (BN). According to him, as long as BN continues to make mistakes people will continue to dislike them and this ensures support for Pakatan as the relationship between voters and the Pakatan is merely the unity of hate, and not the unity of love. He also said that a relationship based on hatred is a dangerous one.To Raja Petra, as long as the party is not Umno or any of the BN components they will continue to support them Pakatan. A political struggle is long and arduous.
There are many imponderables, zig-zags, ups and down.
Many things cannot be foreseen in the long term
except for principles

In the struggle many will fall by the wayside, many will
become renegades and of course oppose the struggle and
the leaders tooth and nail worse than enemies.

However, the leaders that remain become invaluable for
they are tempered by the steel in the political fire.
They will accuse the leaders of being dictators, etc.
The answer should be, "better I be the dictator, than you be".

In the long term success of the party, it is better to have

Zaid and the others are like political eunuchs
who boast of their chastity.Let the dogs bark at the moon,

Zaid Ibrahim has been in the opposition for only a few months and he's already making all sorts of complaints, much of which in my opinion, is rather vague. At the same time, I can't help thinking of the many hundreds and thousands of people all over Malaysia, who are toiling for justice and fighting tyranny every single day for the last few weeks, months, years and decades. People like Anwar, Kit Siang, Nik Aziz, Syed Hussein, Now, who is this fella "Zaid" ?— Former Federal Territory Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) chief Datuk Zaid Ibrahim today announced that he will be forming a new party in January next year.

Speaking at press conference at his residence here, he said he would also be announcing the details on the party the same month

.

However, in an apparent dig at this previous party, he said the new party would certainly not have "Keadilan" (Justice) in its name or was it Parti Angkatan Keadilan Islam Malaysia (Akim)as had been speculated in some blogs.

Asked how confident he was about the new party garnering support from the people, Zaid (picture) said: "I wish to assure our (proponents of the party's) friends that we will have a new party in the country…and I wish to give an assurance that it will not be a fledgling party, we will become big and strong."

On November 8, Zaid, who was contesting PKR's polls for the deputy president's post for the 2010-2012 term, quit the party citing the polls lacked transparency.

"I don't think Zaid is a real fighter because when he faces pressure, he gives up," he told reporters when met at the State Legislative Assembly building, here, Tuesday.
It was reported yesterday that Zaid quit the PKR deputy presidential race, saying the party "leadership actively condones malpractices and electoral fraud to achieve its designed objectives".
Mansor, who is also Penang Deputy Chief Minister I, said when Zaid saw that his chances of winning the contest were slim, he withdrew.
"He (Zaid) does not face pressure from the party leaders but the voices of the grassroots have indicated that he might lose, so he gives up," he said.

Prior to joining PKR, the former Umno member had been a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department when Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (then Datuk Seri) was prime minister. — Bernama

Solat ~ Kenapa ada yang malas mengerjakannya?

Posted: 26 Nov 2010 11:15 PM PST

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Dengan nama Allah, Maha Pengasih, Maha Penyayang.
In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Muslimin Muslimat sekelian.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inilah intipati Khutbah tersebut :
"Segala puji bagi Allah. Kita memuji, meminta pertolongan, beristighfar dan bertaubat kepada-Nya. Kita berlindung dengan-Nya daripada kejahatan diri dan keburukan amalan kita.
Sesiapa yang Allah berikan hidayat kepadanya, maka tidak ada siapa yang boleh menyesatkannya. Sesiapa yang disesatkan oleh Allah, maka tidak ada siapa yang boleh memberikan hidayat kepadanya.
Aku menyaksikan bahawa tidak ada Tuhan melainkan Allah yang Esa, tidak ada sekutu bagi-Nya. Aku menyaksikan bahawa Muhammad adalah hamba dan rasul-Nya.
Aku berpesan kepada kamu supaya mentaati-Nya. Aku membuka khutbahku ini dengan mukaddimah yang baik.
Wahai manusia! Sila dengar apa yang akan aku katakan ini. Aku tidak tahu apakah aku akan dapat bersama kamu semua lagi selepas tahun ini, di tempat ini selamanya?
1. Sesungguhnya darah kamu, harta benda kamu dan kehormatan diri kamu telah terpelihara (diharamkan) sebagaimana diharamkan hari ini, bulan ini dan bandar ini Makkah dan kawasan sekitarnya.
2. Sesiapa yang memegang amanah, maka dia hendaklah mengembalikan amanah tersebut kepada tuan punyanya.
3. Ingatlah! Segala amalan jahiliyyah telah berada di tapak kakimu (iaitu telah dihapuskan).
4. Tuntutan hutang darah di zaman jahiliyyah (sebelum Islam) telah diampunkan. Tuntutan darah pertama yang aku batalkan adalah darah Rabi'ah bin Al-Haris yang disusukan oleh Bani Saad kemudian telah dibunuh oleh Huzail.
5. Riba adalah haram dan aku memulakannya dengan membatalkan riba yang akan diterima oleh Abbas bin Abdul Mutalib. Sesungguhnya ia dihapuskan keseluruhannya.
6. Wahai manusia! Takutilah Allah SWT di dalam urusan yang berkaitan dengan wanita. Sesungguhnya kamu telah mengambil mereka sebagai amanah daripada Allah SWT dan mereka telah dihalalkan kepada kamu dengan kalimah Allah. Wajib ke atas mereka untuk menjaga kehormatan kamu dan menjaga diri daripada melakukan perbuatan buruk. Jika mereka lakukannya maka kamu berhak untuk menghukum mereka tetapi bukanlah dengan pukulan yang mencederakan. Jika isteri-isteri kamu setia dan jujur terhadapmu, maka wajib ke atas kamu menjaga makan minum dan pakaian mereka dengan baik.
7. Semua orang mukmin adalah bersaudara, oleh itu tidak halal bagi seorang muslim mengambil harta orang lain kecuali setelah mendapat kebenaran daripada tuannya.
8. Jangan kamu kembali menjadi kafir selepas pemergianku, di mana sebahagian daripada kamu memerangi sebahagian yang lain. Aku telah tinggalkan untuk kamu suatu panduan, jika kamu berpegang teguh dengan ajarannya, maka kamu tidak akan sesat selama-lamanya; kitab Allah dan sunnah Nabi-Nya.
9. Wahai manusia! Sesungguhnya tidak ada lagi nabi selepasku dan tidak ada lagi umat selepas kamu. Maka aku menyeru agar kamu menyembah Allah SWT Tuhan kamu dan menunaikan solat lima waktu, berpuasa pada bulan Ramadhan serta mengeluarkan zakat hartamu dengan kerelaan. Dan kerjakanlah haji ke Rumah Suci Tuhanmu (kaabah), untuk itu kamu akan masuk syurga Tuhanmu.
10. Tuhan kamu adalah Esa, datuk kamu pula adalah satu, kamu semua berasal daripada Adam dan Adam telah dijadikan daripada tanah. Orang yang paling baik di kalangan kamu ialah mereka yang paling bertaqwa kepada Allah. Tidak ada kelebihan bangsa Arab terhadap bangsa lain kecuali dengan taqwa.
11. Allah SWT telah menetapkan hak menerima pusaka kepada keluarga si mati, oleh itu tidak boleh membuat wasiat kepada penerima pusaka. Sesungguhnya laknat Allah ke atas sesiapa yang mengaku sebagai bapa kepada bukan bapanya yang sebenar, juga laknat dari para malaikat dan seluruh manusia.
12. Kemudian kamu akan disoal tentang aku, maka apa yang akan kamu jawab? Mereka menjawab, "Kami bersaksi bahawa tuan telah menyampaikan dan menyempurnakan risalahmu."
Baginda lalu mengangkat tangannya ke langit dan menurunkannya ke arah orang ramai sambil berkata, "Ya Allah! Saksikanlah."
Baginda Rasulullah mengucapkannya sebanyak tiga kali. Orang yang mengulang kembali ucapan Rasulullah SWT dengan kuatnya di Arafah ialah Rabi'ah bin Umaiyyah bin Khalaf ra.
Baginda berkhutbah di atas untanya al-Qaswah. Di sinilah turunnya wahyu mengenai kesempurnaan agama Islam.
"Pada hari ini telah disempurnakan bagimu agamamu, dan telah kucukupkan nikmat-ku kepadamu, dan telah kuredhakan Islam itu menjadi agama untukmu. (Al-Maidah ayat 3)
Selepas Baginda membacakan wahyu ini, para sahabat saling berpelukan kerana begitu gembira. Namun Sayyidina Abu Bakar perasan al-Qaswah unta Nabi menitiskan air mata dengan banyaknya. Beliau pun ikut menangis.
Sayyidina Umar bertanya apakah sebabnya lalu Sayyidina Abu Bakar menjelaskan.
Di sebalik berita gembira sempurnanya agama Islam, wahyu itu juga petanda khabar duka. Baginda pasti akan meninggalkan mereka kerana tugasnya sebagai Rasul sudahpun selesai. Mendengar itu Sayyidina Umar pun menangis sama, begitu juga dengan para sahabat yang lain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.].

Hadith Riwayat At Tarmidzhi.

Saya bertanya ' From which church are you?' dengan tujuan ingin berdakwah secara 'reverse psychology' terhadapnya.

Ia spontan menjawab ' I am a Muslim!'.

Saya bertanya lagi,' Then why are you singing a Christmas song?'

Ia terpinga pinga kelu terdiam.

Begitulah tuan puan.

'Qullu nafsin iza iqatul maut!'

Malaikat Maut tak akan ambil pot samada u muda remaja, muka macam hero filem Hindi atau cun melecun macam bintang Bollywood!

Cukup time, out u go!

“Silent and Deadly Revolt..??”

Posted: 26 Nov 2010 09:57 PM PST

CM Taibs endorsement on BN direct candidates has more or less open the floodgates from a silent deadly revolt to a more open and vocal politiking from some politicians from BN Sarawak. Our earlier article "are we surprised.?" has all the makings of  a coup from within. Afterall BN is make up of alliances from political parties and why not the winning candidates after the STATE ELECTIONS 2011

It is not getting any better in fact it has got worse with his own Minister giving a 50 minutes interview to an underground radio station.  The 'mushrooming of "underground activities" seems to be welcomed by the Minister. He said in a paragraph from the article,"Masing endorsed the radio station saying that "other (Sarawak) ministers would be happy to talk (to the station because) it is very nice".

An sms was received from a BN State assemblyman and the full text reads,"Personally I believe we should not entertain any interviews or requests or comments by underground radio stations that are activated purely to run us down.Why should we be 'tools" of this Stations to promote themselves? Radio or TV stations or channels or papers rely on number of 'hits',readers or listeners to acclaim success.So why should we be a party to assist them in their unholy mission?if its oppositon leaders thats responding to this channels, I fully understand but not BN leaders.This channels will not be impartial to BN n and the Malaysian and State Government as it was formed with the primary objective of creating discontentment towards the BN,Malaysian or State Government.

What will happen to CATS RADIO Sarawak or Radio Malaysia..

Don't tell me this is Masing testing and opening the ears and eyes of the electorate in Sarawak? Is he looking at his KM3 project again? He says he is BN man. Could PRS go the same way as the defunct PBDS(Parti Bangsa Dayak Sarawak) BN Federal opposition in the state?

A veteran political analyst even went further to say this might happen for he sees himself as the next KM3 with the support of at least 18 dayak YBs and MPs. He has been somewhat elevated eversince the SPDP5 crisis and the ongoing incessant attacks with details and reports on CM Taib provides an opportunity not to be missed.

He was quoted as saying,"that he alone could not pressure Chief Minister Taib Mahmud into stepping down and that was not for lack of trying.

"I cannot pressure (him). 1987, I tried, 1991, I tried. This coming election we'll see. Those who do not want him, whether majority or minority, this election will decide. I cannot do it on my own," he said but was quick to add that he is still a BN man.

A former assemblyman said that Masing is indeed a master politician or a great anthropologists as he has seen off many before him and still maintains his position. The time is now ripe for him to start moving higher. He has seen off the likes of Moggie,Tajem and Sng Chee Hua and still stand tall."Memang dia boleh"{ He really can..!}

So what makes Masing a student ready to take over from the master Taib. One must know that that Masing is especially well mannered and he knows how to put on a front.{Like many good polticians before him he uses on the surface he is harmless but he could be deadly from behind. }He masters it well as he was and still practises what he has learnt and graduated with.

Learning from the backroom all these years since 1983 one must have the ambition too to at least go for it the third time. KM 3 is within reach and in CM's advancing years Taib (75 in 2011)has losts some grip on his reign.Afterall Taib has mentioned to Masing once"Swallow your pride and you will achieve your Aim"

WILL TAIB RUE THIS?

Is James really practising what he he has spent learning from this subject.Anthropology is the scientific and humanistic study of humankind. It looks at the human experience from a holistic, cross-cultural perspective that considers culture as well as biology, the past as well as the present, and both small and large societies.

The obvious needs not be explained but many of us still thinks that Masing is a lightweight. We might just be fooled by his open remarks of supporting the CM Taib openly. He is building up his resources and his army will be ready for the final assault and this time it will not only be a Silent revolt but an Open one with casualties on both sides of the BN team. His strategists will also look at the opportune time to move before or just after the elections.

Meanwhile CM Taib will just have to look at his student more carefully. He will not chance it as any wrong move now will see a serious split in the coalition.

Lies, damn lies and stupidity

Posted: 26 Nov 2010 10:59 AM PST

By Jonson Chong

COMMMENT After my polite final appeal to the president of PKR was ignored... No, actually, she told us that the central election committee would carry out thorough investigations and that all candidates should stop using the media to criticise the party. Although that did not sit well with me, I respected her wishes so much so that even when I withdrew from the contest for a vice- presidential position, I did it quietly.

Indeed, I know some shrewder politicians ridicule me for not taking the opportunity to make a public statement. Well, the rationale for me is simple. I quit because I found the entire party election to be such a disappointment and it completely lacked credibility. And it gave me neither profit nor pleasure in making the party look worse than it already was. (For your information, I tried contacting the president directly before I wrote my open letter to her.)

Now, I share my true feelings not because I want to embarrass the party but because I sense the presence of foolish arrogance in the voice of the party's secretary-general. And I simply cannot remain silent in the face of bold-faced lies because I know it will eventually bring the party to its knees. Yes, I am talking about his statements vis-a-vis the sacking of P Jenapala.

Before I proceed, let me confess one thing. I am no fan of Jenapala. At one point in time, we were both deputy secretaries-general of the party and I came to realise that I did not like the way he expressed himself, which is probably due to the way he thought. Anyway, I digress.

Back to the current secretary-general of PKR. He said that he welcomes the police to investigate the forgery of a letter sacking Jenapala, purportedly signed by the previous secretary-general. (For those who are unaware, I served as the deputy to the previous secretary-general.)

Apart from opening the doors of the party headquarters and computer servers to the friendly PDRM, the current secretary-general also says that, "All we did was open our files and found the letter that Salehuddin signed... How am I supposed to know if his signature was forged?" Does he expect members, supporters and the public to just accept this lame explanation and conclude all is well in the party?

Please allow me to share how the previous secretary-general would have handled things if this matter cropped up, that is, whether Jenapala was actually sacked from the party. One, he would have asked the membership officer to check Jenapala's membership status. Two, he would have asked me to scrutinise the central leadership council meetings' minutes for the relevant decision. And, three, he would have asked whether we issued a letter to inform Jenapala, if indeed such a decision was made.

Honest mistake

For me, just the stupidity of how this Jenapala issue was handled is enough to tell me that the judgement of the people who are purportedly in charge of the party is seriously impaired.

But what really sickens me to the core of my being is that I know for a fact that someone in the party headquarters knows that the letter is a forgery. It was created to cover up an initial honest mistake made by somebody when they said that Jenapala was sacked in February 2009.

For your information, I was the deputy secretary-general charged with the responsibility to assist the disciplinary board in handling cases referred to them by the MPP. When the Jenapala matter first came up during the party election, someone from the headquarters called me to ask whether there was a letter sent to Jenapala to sack him. I said there isn't such a letter and there never was such a decision to sack him. There was only a decision to sack him in principle, if indeed it was found that he was involved in the formation of a new political party.

Then, before I knew it, I saw a letter with the previous secretary-general's signature, which was purportedly sent to Jenapala to sack him way back in February 2009. I was speechless.

I was speechless because there is no doubt in my mind that the letter is a forgery, and I am dumbfounded that they could resort to such a thing to cover up an honest mistake, for which they could have just humbly informed the media and move on.

Now, in light of the police report lodged by the previous secretary-general, this matter cannot be swept under the carpet anymore; especially not the way the current secretary-general attempted to do it. I'm amazed that he doesn't see the gravity of the situation.

I know, in politics perception is everything. But I also know, in a court of law evidence is everything. And when the judiciary is not on your side, it doesn't even matter if they don't have the evidence. All they need is a good reason to put you away.

If the president still does not take some serious action to remedy this situation, then I'm afraid the party's days may be numbered, with or without a new line-up. And let me unequivocally state that I am not addressing the de facto leader on this matter because I no longer recognise the validity of that position.
