Pengalaman Saya Meminta Pinjaman TEKUN NASIONAL

Pengalaman Saya Meminta Pinjaman TEKUN NASIONAL

Pengalaman Saya Meminta Pinjaman TEKUN NASIONAL

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 10:32 AM PST

No 10, Jalan Pekaka 8/3, Seksyen 8, Kota Damansara, 47000, Petaling Jaya Selangor.

Saya pun pergi mencari alamat tersebut, dan saya pun jumpalah pejabat TEKUN NASIONAL SUBANG. Pejabatnya seperti di bawah:

Saya terus koyak borang TEKUN yang saya dapatkan Wakil Rakyat Pembangkang untuk tandatangan tu. Saya kata sampai kiamat pun permohonan saya takkan diluluskan.

DUIT TEKUN DAH JADI DUIT UMNO

WOII UMNO, DUIT TEKUN TU DUIT RAKYAT BUKAN DUIT UMNO

Sekali lagi terdedah TEKUN ni contoh bagaimana UMNO memfaraid duit rakyat kepada geng2 UMNO sahaja. Tak heranlah DAP pun komplen pasal TEKUN. (Klik di sini)

Dan "Otai" untuk TEKUN ni adalah Noh Omar. Dia ni Timbalan kepada Khir Toyo al Disneyland. Kalau ketua dah hancur, Timbalan dia lagi teruk.

Wild boars got value; trouble makers none

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 10:31 AM PST

SALAM! I took a short drive to Kg Medan/Kg Sentosa yesterday after hearing that wild boar heads were thrown into the compounds of three mosques. When things appear to be on the mend over recent issues, this incident is totally irresponsible. I just wonder what good this act will do. Kg Medan has a history of some trouble in the past. Some years ago, fights broke out which resulted in the burning of motorcycles and arrests. I took a ride in the area too at that time. It was night and the sight of a burning motorcycle didn't help to calm nerves. The wild boar head incident made me conclude that whoever did this need to have their heads examined, in more ways than one. I bumped into our young MP Khairi (KJ) at the mosque, who was already on the scene doing his part to calm things down. Several young MIC leaders were there too. We all want peace and harmony. No two ways about that. The trouble seekers should be sent to an island and let loose among the wild boars..

Iskandar is a Humanist, Saddam is an Angel

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 08:01 AM PST

This pic of Sultan Iskandar illustrates what kind of moral standard our administration possesses.

If this is an honest description of him, a man who happened to be born from the right hole at the right time (read: lucky) ... then guess it's fair to say Saddam Hussein is an angel.

That's right, Saddam Hussein did not go to Hell for gassing thousands of Kurds. On the contrary  he is now the right-hand man, no, actually, blue-eyed boy of Allah Almighty. In another word, Allah loves 'good' guy like him.

So, folks, why be good? Why work so hard? Why even want to help or share anything with the rest at all? Why not just scam, steal, rob, kill, murder, and do whatever along that line ... Bottom line is you must be a friend of the administration, it gets you money, power and fame real quick. So, why not? All you know is in the end , we still get to sit next to Allah and be the next most mighty in Heaven. So, why not?

Aiyah, Rajib, why don't you just make me you friend lah, I'd close my eye and tell everyone it's perfectly okay to plunder, pillage and whatever else of that nature, no issue lah. Allah endorses (notice I added the 's' here as compared to the usual no 's' for His Almighty) all these things lah, and UMNO is holiest intuition is the world lah. Just facebook me as you buddy lah. (Notice: this paragraph is not a joke!]

It's only today I realize what is the true meaning of "Third Word".

Dr. Mahathir, any comment?

God bless Bolehland.

Wang Ehsan boleh diterima, Royalty dituntut

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 10:34 AM PST

Sekian sahaja.

OBITUARY: Ding Jo Ann

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:11 PM PST

THIS IS A POSSIBLE OBITUARY IN THE MOULD SUGGESTED BY THIS UNCIVILISED WRITER -
In writing this obituary I subscribed to Dingbat Jo Ann's belief that one must leave behind the advise that one should not speak ill of the dead,

Cut short in the prime of life, Ding Jo Ann is not missed.

Confusing rudenes with honesty, Ding Jo Ann mindlessly angered mild mannered people who wanted to remember the dead kindly. Obviously a recent escapee of a closed mind, this writer embraced false liberalism to compensate for a  less than analytical mind.

Quite unable to fathom the simple civility of appropriateness, this writer relishes on cheap stunts such as defaming the dead and doing it during the mourning period.

Many people then began digging for his dirty past to expose it for the sake of exposing Ding Jo Ann.

Going by this Dingbat's yardstick a writer is a public figure who imposes his or her opinion on the masses, therefore everyone should have the right to know every detail of this writer's upbringing or lack thereof.

This is so that each word that is spewed could be correctly framed with the appropriate background so that one may understand whether it had passed through the filter of hatred, bigotry or simple stupidity.

In short many people queued at his grave to piss on it to celebrate the death of an idiot whose biggest contribution to the country is the incitement of anger and hatred against a dead ruler.

Good riddance.

The country now awaits the demise of the Nutgraph.

This obituary is printed in blood red to remind everyone that this Dingbat called for the blood of a dead person.

Bulletproof IFC ~ Revisited!

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 07:35 AM PST

A blog commenter @ Vish infers that I am misreading what the proponents of the IFC are concerned about in his latest responses to my article before this exposing the true intentions of the IFC in becoming an untouchable commission within the frameworks of the Government of Malaysia?

I retrieved one screen shot of the copy of the IFC Draft in Microsoft Word which I had received a couple of years ago.

Here is what I consider to be the tip of the IFC 'iceberg'.

Scary isn't it?

Even an avid critic of myself sent in a comment disagreeing with these religious wolves in 'concerned' sheepskin!

Here is the article I wrote concerning the 'Bulletproof IFC'!

Take a look at what the notorious FFT @ Friend From Texas had to say about these IFC Masterplan?

Vish my man, there are a whole lot more incriminating evidence that yours truly has stored away in the archives of my data storage!

When the time comes, all those files will Insya Allah see the light of the day and expose the true designs of those who wish to emulate the Chow Yuen Fatt movie character 'Bulletproof Monk'?

In this case, they are the intended ' Bulletproof IFC'.

Would you still wish me to be silent about them?

Dream on bro...for this blogger has sworn to protect my fellow Muslims from being taken for a ride by these religious shysters, so help me O Almighty Allah!

Melayu berpecah: Mahathir salahkan PAS, PKR

KMM: Kesatuan Melayu Muda (1938)

Dr Burhanuddin Al Helmi

Dr Burhanuddin, satu nama Melayu yang berfahaman haluan kiri, beliau bukan ahli KMM. KMM hanya menghubunginya selepas seminggu kejatuhan Singapura.

Kemudian, Inggeris 'menubuhkan' UMNO.

[ADS] Terima Email Dan Dapatkan $$$ Setiap Kali Membacanya !!!

[ADS] Earn $$$ From Your Website With Adbrite!!!

Biarkan Profesor Sejarah Khoo Kay Khim membuktikan saya salah.

SPDP President's Turnaround- Borneo Warrior Blog.

Prior to Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) recent TGA the President announced as well as issued statement that his Party will maintain the status quo to keep the present line-up then intact and be able to carry on with the works progressively henceforth.

The so-called status quo list was then believed to have been agreed, signed, published and even used as "The President List' for the Party election. The ensuing results truly showed that the delegates supported the "President List" and almost all won their respective seats. Yb Sylvester Entrie, however was not in the election "President List" as he was then in the "list " to be reappointed as the Sec Gen of the party, thus completing the final status quo line-up.

The change of heart by the president by not adhering to the status quo list caught all by surprise, especially Entrie and his group.
The appointed posts are the President prerogative technically and legally, albeit not morally. This is tantamount to an act of betrayal of your comrade.

Why Dato Sri William Mawan renegaded on this is anybody's guess and speculation.
But, thats the painfull part of being the President, in that there are things that you have to do alone and wish that you could confide in someone and yet you could not. Its called being "lonely", terribly lonely being at the top…only you and the Almighty one knows…and will have to live with your decision, rightfully or otherwise for the rest of one's political career and maybe beyond.

KUCHING – The crisis in the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) deepened with some members calling for William Mawan to resign as president of the party, but Mawan dismissed the demand.william-mawan"I will not bow down to personal feelings of some members," he said, pointing out that he would not abandon the responsibility and the trust placed upon him by those who had elected him.

Explaining his stand

"I am elected unopposed as president and I have a duty to those who elected me. I will not run away from my responsibility.  This is Mawan," he said yesterday when asked by Malaysian Mirror to comment on demands by Peter Gani for him to resign to solve the present crisis.

"I appreciate the feelings of my friend Gani, but resignation is not an option for me. I will not bow down to pressure. I have a long-term strategy and the interest of members and the party to think about.

Gani, an SPDP founding member, had called on Mawan to resign, saying the members had lost confidence in his leadership.

Grassroots, not aides, decide fate

In Sibu, Tamin branch chairman Engkail Bunyau said branch members want the president to listen to the wishes of the grassroots rather than to just close aides.

He described Mawan's decision to replace Sylvester Enteri as secretary-general with Nelson Balang Rining as "untimely".

Dissent grows louder

Batu Danau state assemblyman Paulus Gumbang, who was one of those who had walked out during the supreme council meeting in support of Enteri, said he was shocked that the top leadership was engaging in underhanded politics.

He said the leadership should set a good example as such politics would only divide the party and weaken its powerbase.

Borneo Posts

KUCHING: Former Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) secretary-general Sylvester Entri Muran has declined to accept the post of vice-president, claiming party president Dato Sri William Mawan Ikom, has reneged on his earlier promise of maintaining the equilibrium of power in SPDP.

Entri said prior to SPDP triennial general assembly (TGA) last December, Mawan had come up with a 'presidential line-up' with him continuing as secretary-general.

But on Saturday, at the party's supreme council, Mawan said he was exercising his prerogative as president following consultation with members of the supreme council.

Entri was said to have left that meeting before it ended, and yesterday he held a press conference at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel here to deliver a press statement explaining why he was declining the post offered by Mawan.

Most party insiders saw this as a protest by Entri, who probably felt that in his successor, Ba Kelalan assemblyman Nelson Balang Rinin, Mawan wanted nothing less than his most trusted man to hold the secretary-general post.

Entri's press conference yesterday was also attended by vice-president III, Mas Gading MP Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe, who is National Service Training Council chairman.

"Mawan has abused his prerogative and acted according to the advice of only few members. He has ignored the wishes of the majority," said Entri, who is Marudi assemblyman as well as Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Water Supply).

"There were no consultat-ions and consensus before the supreme council meeting. We were all caught by surprise with the announcement by the president," he said.

Entri said he was recording the proceeding of the meeting when Mawan made his announcement of new appointments, starting with the less important posts and then finally making the 'shocking announcement' of dropping him from the secretary-general post.

He said the moment he realised he had been dropped, he got up and walked out of the meeting.

It was also understood that senior vice-president, Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Peter Nansian, who is also Assistant Minister of Environment; Bekenu assemblywoman Rosey Yunus (appointed vice president); Batu Danau assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang (assistant information chief); and Dr Tiki also walked out of Saturday's meeting.

Three supreme council members also staged a walk out – Peter Ghani, George Garai and Cr Eda Igar.

According to Entri, Saturday was not the first time that Mawan had acted suspiciously.

He claimed that in August 2009, Mawan announced an open contest for all seats in SPDP but in the end withdrew the decision after his deputy, Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Krian assemblyman Datuk Peter Nyarok Entrie, announced that a status quo was desired.

Entrie and Dr Tiki said they feared that the problem besetting the party now could cause a split if not handled by the party president with "the greatest of care".

Any such split could disrupt the Barisan Nasional's (BN) stability, they said.

Eastern Times News
Gani's call a "big joke": Paul Tonybee

KUCHING: Peter Gani's call for Dato Sri William Mawan to step down gracefully as President of Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) is a big joke, says Paul Toynbee, a Supreme Council member of the party.
"While Peter Gani is entitled to his personal opinion about the President, his statement to the media does not in anyway represent the views and feelings of the 100,000-odd members of SPDP," Toynbee said when contacted yesterday.
He reminded Gani that Mawan had won uncontested the post of President for three consecutive terms.
"His long-serving leadership speaks volumes of the support, confidence and trust that he has from the members. I also urge Peter Gani to refrain from making further disparaging remarks about the party President.
"Disrespect of the party President, who has been chosen and empowered by the members, is as good as disrespecting the members themselves.
"If he remains adamant about his stance, he can have the option of leaving the party gracefully," said Toynbee.
Meanwhile, SPDP Women's Wing declared its full support to the leadership of the party in its effort to ensure continued unity, stability and team work in the party.
"We are committed to the cause of advancing the party interest at all times. In this regard, no individuals or groups must be allowed to compromise this fundamental principle for their personal or any other gains," said a press statement issued by the Wing yesterday.
The statement expressed regret that the former Secretary-General, Sylvester Entrie, had acted irrationally when he made an emotional outburst to the media, after being not reappointed to his former position. He was offered the senior post of Vice-President by the party leadership.
"His statement to the press, which has brought much disrepute to the party, certainly does not go down well with the leaders and members of the Women Wing of SPDP.
"As an experienced politician and party man, he should have refrained from engaging in open confrontation, and (should have) shown due respect to the party and its leadership," the statement added.
The statement also reminded Entrie of the advice of the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak who stressed that internal problems of a BN component party should be resolved internally and not to be brought out into the open.
"We acknowledge that the appointment of the Secretary-General and several other members of the Supreme Council of the party is the prerogative of the President as provided for in the constitution.
"Entrie's insistence on the maintenance of the status quo for all party posts in the aftermath of the Triennial General Assembly is both misleading and disrespectful.
"We feel sorry that he has failed to understand that the term 'status quo' applies to contested posts whereas the appointment of selected individuals to appointed post is the prerogative of the President.
"We are proud that the President has shown maturity and integrity in that he has been very accommodating and understanding, in the light of the outburst of Entrie, although the party leadership could have exercised the option of taking disciplinary action against him," the statement added.
The Wing also urged Entrie to look at the bigger picture of SPDP and Barisan Nasional.

Have you all been well informed so far….???

Hope and resilience are good but has its limits we can't sort of dictate them but rather inspire and mentor. Everyone processes difficult experiences in various ways. Are Indian Muslim armchair philanthropists aware of the plight of 24-year old Siti Nazrin binte Mohd Iqbal?
If you cannot help dont stop others from helping them
MALAYSIAN INDIAN NGO'S to , NOT aware of the plight of INDIAN MUSLIM women. With a blend of research, personal relationships, and relevant narratives, muslimah journal@MALAYSIA has a deep understanding of the injustices occurring in Malaysia, and an even deeper desire to educate others on the issues they are so passionate about. at times like a journal, filled with anecdotes from those they've met along the way. Though every so often the solutions they offer may come across as patronizing or the stories they present as anomalies, I believe the journal is a step in the right direction, openly discuss taboo topics, some which have not been presented in this magnitude before. Bringing issues to light is the first step in real change, and facing discomfort head on is precisely what they do. They posit a general framework of what is happening, what has been done, and most importantly, what needs to happen to drive change
at the very least 24-year old Siti Nazrin binte Mohd Iqbal had filed a complaint against her in-law Mohd BIN Katir Sultan(GEPIMA) for torturing her for more dowry, Siti's father has given 800gms of gold valued at RM95,OOO. They still tortured me fron day one I enter their house. Mental and physical torture by Mohd bin Katir Sultan and his family for more dowry of RM100,000 in cash to buy a bunglow in Taman Rawther. MOHD son had only primary six , assaulted with hot iron, forced her to sleep in the storeroom and was fed with left over food.a withness tipped her father how she was forced to housework for the family of 12 people during the time she was pregnant they continue to torture her, her former husband and his mother pressed her baby while she was carring ,they kill my baby cried . They are supposed to bear half the cost of the wedding but they tricked my father to agree for the full cost of the wedding mohd even demanded rm 2000 commision from the caterer the catering was fully paid by my father what kind vulture is this man yet the so called
MOHD BIN KATIR SULTAN is the one who ended the relationship. He always remind me if i complain to my parents he will end our relationship me one day to announce, "It's over."ask his son , I got a piece of mail, which my husband had signed with the three words "Talaq, talaq, talaq," meaning "I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you." According to traditional interpretation, a Muslim man has to simply utter this word three times to divorce his wife While these situations are becoming in Malaysia among INDIANMUSLIMS, they still occur often enough to warrant some discussion on them. There are those families who will use the bride's dowry as their own. Often in these situations, the bride's dowry will be recycled for the groom's sisters' dowry. Sometimes, the groom's family uses the bride's dowry entirely for their own means and the bride does not benefit from it all. There have been horrible, true stories of the groom's family agreeing to one dowry and after the bride is married (and I might add, no longer a virgin) demanding more from the bride's parents. Threats of divorce are often used to entice the bride's parents to give more dowry. In a country where shame is brought down on the divorcee, parents of the bride will do whatever they can to save their daughters this shame. Occasionally, the threat of physical violence is used. There really is no way these type situations can end happily. Even if the bride's parents are able to scrape together more dowry, they will not be able to continue doing so and in the end the bride is either sent home in shame or sometimes killed in an "accident".
Often people do not realize the dowry system has repercussions in many different areas other than the obvious horrible one stated above. Given the fact that a girl's parents must provide a substantial dowry plus try to give her a college education or some form of formal education today, it is not surprising that the number of girl abortions are extremely high in India. Interestingly, India theoretically is a culture which places high value on females. The females of a family are the life-blood, the pride and honor of that family. It is a very contradictory situation to see such importance placed on females and then to see the abortion rates of female babies sky high. Most college-educated Indians I have spoken to, both male and female, stand in firm objection to the dowry system and see that the twisted form it has taken is responsible for the degradation of women. In these families, girl children are just as prized as boy children and parents are teaching their daughters of their own worth as a human being.

Drawing parallels to the story in the Quran which related how Prophet Muhammad engineered the opening of Mecca to Muslims through the Treaty of Hudaibiyyah, this taxidriver pointed out that change did not happen overnight.
"The success that was achieved certainly did not happen in the blink of an eye. Two years before the Opening of Mecca, a treaty known as Hudaibiyyah was sealed between Rasulullah S.A.W. and the Quraisy clan.
"None doubted the treatise. Yet clearly there were advantages behind the readiness and patience of Rasulullah S.A.W. in accepting the contract…As soon as the Treaty of Hudaibiyyah was sealed, Allah issued a commandment:
'Truly, for your struggle (O Muhammad) We have opened a path to victory that is clearly to be seen,'"this taxidriver highlighted.
"The change that we desire to implement is based on solid blocks of stones, a distant cry from the empty rhetoric based on hate and dispute," he said.
He added: "We must ensure that this INDIAN MUSLIM is not swallowed up by the fires of partisanship and sunk with reckless dogmatism. Remember 'who sows the wind will reap a hurricane'."

Umno Youth head, Khairy Jamaluddin, told to step down!

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 05:21 AM PST

KJ told to step down for lacklustre leadership!

Mohd Hishamuddin, or fondly known as Yeop, who told KJ to scuttle!

Khairy Jamaluddin, or commonly known as KJ, was told by an Umno Youth executive council (exco) member from Putrajaya Umno youth to step down as an Umno Youth head and to make way for others, if he cannot effectively lead the movement.
At a four-hour Umno Youth meeting held at the 38th floor of the PWTC today, disgruntled exco members, among others, voiced out their dissatisfaction over KJ's nine month lacklustre leadership.
Mohd Hushamuddin Yahaya, Putrajaya Umno Youth vice-head said the movement feels that nothing is moving under KJ's leadership.
Other exco members also voiced out the inability for the exco members to have excess or to see even Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib Tun Razak for a meaningful dialogue due to KJ's vanity and pride.
Some, at the meeting, also feel that KJ as the Umno Youth leader did not seem to support Najib policies such as the One Malaysia concept.
Others blamed KJ's choice of state Umno youth heads as being those who are non performer and were chosen without consulting other youth members. "Some of those elected have no credibility to begin with and yet KJ chose them," sources said.
Well KJ buck-up or get out of the kitchen!

UMNOPUTRAS START DEMANDING

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 04:24 AM PST

I don't blame Malaysians for saying that UMNOputras from Peninsula Malaysia are very arrogant and every demanding.

UMNOputras fail to realise that UMNO is in this position today because of the efforts of leaders in the Barisan Nasional who are understanding and accomodative.

Since many of the BN parties from Peninsula Malaysia are having crisis, UMNO leaders start demanding. UMNOputras fail to realise that BN leaders and their members were very helpful and accomodative when UMNO faced crisis a few years ago.

Now, certain UMNO leaders are demanding that agreed BN seat allocations be reviewed.

Are these leaders stirring-up problem? UMNO will have to immediately take appropriate actions against its leaders who go against it agreed terms with other component parties within the BN.

This is the news from Malaysian Insider that pertains to this issue:

MCA chief mum over BN seat allocation
By Debra Chong

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat today chose to stay non-commital in the face of increasing calls from grassroot Malay leaders pushing Barisan Nasional (BN) to abolish the quota allocated for component parties to contest in the next general election.

Grassroot leaders such as Datuk Wira Syed Ali Alhabshee have been vocal in pushing for Umno to take a more dominant role in the ruling coalition; and to stop 'sacrificing' electoral seats for the sake of preserving good relations with its sister parties.
But Ong, who heads the second biggest party in BN - after Umno — appeared dismissive of Syed Ali's suggestion to revamp the current system.

"He is entitled to his view just like I am entitled to mine," Ong said when asked to comment on the Federal Territory BN secretary's suggestion.

"I may not need to agree or I may not need to comment on each and every view," Ong retorted when pushed to state his view.

Wrought by infighting, the Chinese party's relevance in the race-based coalition grows increasingly tenuous as the days pass.

A national Malay daily noted that the current practice was no longer 'relevant' in the aftermath of the landmark 12th General Elections in 2008 which saw Chinese winning in Malay majority constituencies and vice versa.

"Don't give according to quota. Can't use quota now," Berita Harian cited Syed Ali as saying today.

"It's meaningless for us to sacrifice for a candidate from another race just for the quota because it's more important to have a leader liked by the people," Syed Ali added.

What is UMNO going to do about this?

UMNOputras need to realise that UMNO is able to rule the federal government after the 2008 general elections due to the support of BN loyal voters from Sabah and Sarawak.

Year of the Tiger

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 03:39 AM PST

I'm fed up with the politics and fallout from the issue surrounding the use of the word 'Allah' by the Catholic Herald and the Anwar Ibrahim cringe in his reluctance, again, to decisively take action against an indiscipline and unrepentant Kulim Wonder, so tonight, for a break I'll blog on a non-political matter.

On 14 February this year we usher in the year of the Tiger, one of the 12 an animal symbols in the Chinese calendar. It's a symbol which has never been popular with Chinese astrologists or feng shui masters. The Tiger year is likely to be volatile and fearsome. Not unexpectedly it is associated with wars, disasters and disputes. It is also said to be a year for massive change but which may bring out the best.

Apart from the 12 animal symbols in the Chinese calendar, there are also 5 elements to consider, namely, fire, earth, wood, water and metal.

This coming year (14 Feb 2010 to 2 Feb 2011) will be the turn of the Metal Tiger. People born in this year will be aggressive, attractive, diligent, but mainly motivated by self interest and thus selfish. I am reminded of a couple of sweeties ;-)

However, the worst of the Tigers is the Fire Tiger, which fortunately we only experience once every 60 years.

You're safe for a while because the last two occurrences were in 1926 (13 Feb 1926 to 1 Feb 1927) and 1986 (9 Feb 1986 to 28 Jan 1987). It will come next in 2046, by which time I will be either too old to be bothered or safe in the happy hunting ground chasing after phoenixes and unicorns, and perhaps a few sweeties as well wakakaka.

While Tiger years in general are feared for their potential for violence or nastiness, the Fire Tiger year takes the cake for this notoriety.

In 1926 (Fire Tiger), a couple of hurricanes caused havoc in Miami and Cuba, and Mount Vesuvius erupted. The unfortunate item in 1926 was the beginning of the Japanese Showa era, where Emperor Hirohito reigned to give us WWII as well as the genocidal Rape of Nanking.

60 years later, in 1986, humongous hail stones, each around 1 kg, fell on the Gopalganj district of Bangladesh, killing 92 unfortunate people who weren't exactly expecting ice. That same month (April) the Chernobyl disaster occurred. In Cameroon, a crater lake called Nyos suddenly emitted a large cloud of CO2 gas, suffocating 1700 people and 3500 heads of livestock. An earthquake in El Salvador killed 1,500 people.

I suppose we could say for Germany that year was also a monumental disaster when it was beaten by Argentina 3-2 in the FIFA World Cup in Mexico City.

However, it doesn't explain why it was during the Wood (not Fire) Tiger year of 1914 when WWI happened.

Then in 1938 in the nasty prelude to WWII, when Japan was raping China and invading (or attempting to anyway) the USSR, it was an Earth Tiger year.

The Russian defeating the Japanese at the Battle of Lake Khasan and again in Mongolia was to have devastating fallout. With the Japanese Army in disgrace, Japan's military dictatorship opted for the Navy's plan of striking south (instead of north to occupy Siberia and its natural resources) against the Europeans' colonies in SE Asia, and consequentially at the Americans at Pearl Harbour.

Chinese Malaysians and no doubt overseas Chinese will be avoiding weddings in this coming feline year. Superstitious Chinese would also avoid marrying their sons to women born in the year of the Tiger.

Mind you, I had an ex (Hongkie) who is a Tiger sweetie, and she was sweet and rather fun to be around with, but too full of yang energy (bossy and domineering). Hardly surprising that the sweetie went on to become a millionaire in her own rights.

Though Tigers are believed to be highly compatible with Dogs, alas she married a Hongkie millionaire :( Each coming Chinese New Year I would receive an expensive looking greeting card from her, with an invitation to visit and stay with her (and hubby of course). Probably she wants to show me she has done bloody well without me wakakaka!

But jokes aside, if you want something very sad, please read my new post
Dreaming of Tiger Lily over at my other blog, KTemoc Kongsamkok. It's a true story.

1Mouth. 1Stream of crap. All the time.

The Malaysian Insider today reported that, "A one-ticket system for public transport in the Klang Valley will be introduced by the end of the year to further encourage the people to use public transportation."

Transport Minister Ong Tee Keat said that the "1Ticket, 1Seamless Journey" project would be launched for all the 16 public transport operators.

So sure, come year end we can buy our 1Ticket and use it to travel wherever we're going. IF the bus/train/LRT arrives to pick us up!!!

Will somebody please tell this fucking clown that it isn't buying a 1Ticket that encourages us to use public transport but the existence of an efficient, convenient system!!!

Address the REAL issues, moron!

I don't know about you but I am really getting very tired of this
1Crap, 1Same-fucking-sing-song-tokkok

that our government 'leaders' are spouting.

1Malaysia clinics boon to urban poor

Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:51 AM PST

'1Malaysia' clinics have been set up with the urban poor in mind to provide a form of financed healthcare and to reduce the burden on overcrowded government clinics," said the Health Ministry's director general Ismail Merican. "Healthcare is becoming increasingly expensive and if the government does not act, there will come a time will come when the public can no longer afford it," he said. "There are a special group of people with special needs - the urban poor. So far we have been concentrating on the rural poor. We have rural clinics run by assistant medical officers and nurses. "They have been running for decades. And because of the strength of the rural healthcare system, Malaysia is often said to have among the best healthcare systems in the world. "The recently established '1Malaysia' clinics fill this need and they are equivalent to normal government clinics, which are manned by medical assistants (mas)."
