Pemecatan Annual Bakhri: Siap Sedia Untuk PAS Masuk BN Siri 2

(Bersambung dari Siri 1)
SIAP SEDIA PAS MASUK BN

Misalnya:

WHY THE LEGAL BATTLE ON A GENERIC TERM ALLAH

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 08:22 AM PST

We are presumed to be a nation of highly educated people. A large proportion of us are capable of deepening our knowledge and shaping our mind with the use of the internet. Knowledge is abound on the internet. With one click of the mouse we could obtain a wealth of information. Conversely with such facilities being readily at our disposal we can secure information and genuinely make a transformation of our mind, when our knowledge or skill veers into new and uncharted territory.

So why has a legal battle to be waged in a court of law over a "generic" term Allah?

This is owing to the fact that the Ministry of Home Affairs has barred the Roman Catholic Church from using the word "Allah" in its weekly publication The Herald. The Federal Constitution states that Islam is the religion of the federation. It does not prohibit the use of the word "Allah." But the Home Ministry (HM) claims that it is a threat to national security. How could it be so?

The Quran at chapter XXIII AL-Muminun, or The Believers at verse 91 categorically states: "No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to him!"

So, since the Quran itself states that there is only one God, how does the HM claim that there is a threat to national security?

Could it be that the HM has an original formation of mind that is still like that of a young child which is only capable of conceiving ideas without understanding the composition and the motions of this world?

Or does the HM need an adult education course to contrast and understand history and evolutionary psychology?

If only the HM were to use the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) facilities their lawyers would not have made fools of themselves for having had raised such scandalous, frivolous and vexatious arguments in court that by the use of a generic term, the word "Allah" would be a threat to national security.

Why would it be so?

There are many scholars who have carried out research papers on this generic word "Allah." Many scholars conclude that "Allah" is derived from a compound of an Arabic word, AL + ILAH = Allah. They confirm that "ILAH" in Arabic is "God" and "AI" in Arabic is a definitive article like our word "the".

Therefore, from the English equivalent the word "Allah" comes from "The + God". There is also another theory that the word "Allah" was borrowed into the language in pre-Islamic times from Aramaic.

The are historians like Vaqqidi  who state that Allah was actually the chief of 360 gods, that is, one god for each day of the year being worshipped in Arabia at the time Muhammad rose to prominence

Ibn Al-Kalbi gave 27 names of pre-Islamic deities. Interestingly, not many Muslims want to accept that Allah was already being worshipped at the Ka'ba in Mecca by Arab pagans before Muhammad came. Some Muslims become angry when they are confronted with this fact. But history is not on their side. Pre-Islamic literature has proved this.

In order to obtain a better understanding of the word "Allah" it is suggested that the reader do make an effort to go the following links and read up the information for their own understanding and knowledge.

http://www.bible.ca/islam/islam-allah-pre-islamic-origin.htm

http://www.bible.ca/islam/library/islam-quotes-sherif.htm

We all know that common sense dictates that God has not appointed any mortal soul to regulate our religious belief. In the same vain Hawkins has pointed out that religion spreads like a virus and inflicts the young when they are depressed and feel hopeless. It also inflicts individuals who are weak emotionally and intellectually. But not thieves, robber barons and murders, like the Jet engines, PKFZ scandal or the C4 murder of Altantua.

The HM should of all institutions of the government understand that we are a secular nation. We have our rights enshrined in the constitution. Religion is a way of life. And each one of us gives our veneration to God in our own way. The last thing that any government should ever think of doing is to regulate our belief in God as it is a personal matter between each and every one of us and God.

Therefore the act of banning the Herald from using the word "Allah" is in itself an unconstitutional act under the provisions of Article 3, 10  and 11 of the Federal Constitution. As such, the Freedom to practice ones religion is premised on a person's  belief and based on such a belief the use of the choice of words to express the belief cannot under any circumstance whatsoever be regulated.

If it was ever permitted, then it would cause violence to the constitutional rights of the people who have a belief in that faith. Of course an elected government has the mandate to formulate policies for the common good of all its citizens. But it has no power to determine as to how to direct or dictate to its citizens on how, what, where, why and in what form or manner they are to believe and to think about their religious beliefs.

Therefore our government should not forget the basic question of why it was elected and it should not lose sight of the mandate it has been given to govern but should always understand that its role to manage the nation is inauthentic as it does not have any power to manage our thoughts and our faith in God.

Awang Selamat also asserted that as a country with a constitutional monarchy, no one is allowed to insult or ridicule the rulers. The writer did not, however, cite any constitutional provision. Both Utusan and Berita Harian, in their Sunday editions Mingguan Malaysia and Berita Minggu carried scathing attacks from various Umno leaders against the "treacherous behaviour" of challenging the Malay rulers. strip all the opposition leaders of their citizenship and they wont be a threat to UMnahhhh! anymore.

They really show off their colour of being Goons and Greets. I can imagineif the last 308 PR won the Gormen? I can see there will be riot and they will run amok the whole Semenanjung…Royalty and UMNO should bay for their own blood because they are the real cause for the Perak's political impasse and uncertainty. These shameless people have robbed the people of their rights and now try to shift the blame to PR. How low can these UMNO goons and backers stoop

"Utusan Malaysia and also Berita Harian gave almost blanket coverage"Not very green-friendly, and a waste of time and money with so many people boycotting these papers. Even in small towns in the East Coast, the Malay majority are grumbling why the Harakah & Keadilan have been banned but not UM & Berita. Their tyranny & stupidities override their hollow so-called "loyalties".Why we need monarchy? To protect us from the evil doing of the executives and judiciary..the sultan acts as the check and balance. Or so we thought. We pay them millions of ringgits from our hard earned money by paying taxes which in turn pays for their allowances and salary. By looking at the situation now,do you think it's worth it?

These uMNO bast**ds think that they are the gomen of the day and can do whatever they want to the extend of revoking citizenship, what law are they talking about?must be the law of the jungle.

The government can criticize the country's sultans. The opposition can't In a speech before Malaysia's Dewan Rakyat, or parliament, on February 14, 1993, then-Prime Minister asked that the body strip the country's sultans of their immunity to the law. In the speech, he accused them, among other things, of giving away parts of the country to the British, oppressing the people, breaking civil and criminal laws, misusing the money and property of the government and pressuring government officials. The measure, which included a rule to allow commoners to criticize the Sultans, even the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, or king without fear of the Sedition Act other than questioning the legitimacy of the monarchy itself, was passed overwhelmingly by the parliament, apparently without outcry over Dr Mahathir's rather tough treatment of the country's nine monarchs. Asia Sentinel brings this up in light of the growing controversy in Malaysia over opposition protests against the Sultan of Perak's decision to oust the Pakatan Rakyat chief minister of his state and sanction the appointment of a member of the United Malays National Organisation as the new chief minister despite the fact that a 28-28 tie remained, and that the Pakatan Rakyat had asked for a snap election to determine which coalition should rule the state. When Karpal Singh, national chairman of the Democratic Action Party, offered to sue Sultan Raja Azlan Shah in the courts to get his decision reversed, scores of UMNO members filed complaints and led rallies against Karpal Singh for insulting the sultan. Members of the press, including Jed Yoong of the Asia Sentinel, have also been cited. It would appear from Dr Mahathir's 1993 speech that it is perfectly legal to sue members of the royalty. It would also appear that UMNO members, particularly prime ministers, can make allegations against the country's royalty that opposition leaders and members of the press can't. We invite readers to decide for themselves. We reprint Dr Mahathir's historic 1993 speech below in its entirety.

Mr. Speaker Sir,

I request to propose that is a Bill named "An Act to amend the Constitution" to be read for the second time. Speaker Sir, allow me to introduce and comment on the Act that I mentioned above

2. When the country demanded independence, the country's leaders, who received a huge victory and united support in the 1955 General Election, decided that our country would be administered via Parliamentary Democracy and Constitutional Monarchy.

3. This system was chosen because when the Malay states were administered via the feudal system with power vested in the hands of the Rajas, the Malay states were weak and its administration was in chaos. The states could not establish peace and enforce laws. As a negative result, the states were forced to put themselves under the influence of foreign powers like China, Siam and the West. Finally, all the Malay states were conquered by the British and ruled as a British colony via agreements between the Rajas that administered with the British Government.

4. After the Second World War, the Malay Rajas hoped that when the British administered again, their positions as Rajas, under the advice of the British officials, would be reinstated. The Malay states would be ruled by the British although not like Singapore, Penang and Malacca, where the British had full power.

5. For the majority of the Malay people in the Peninsular states, they were ready to accept a rule in which the Malayness of the Malay states was recognized by the British, although the administration was almost completely controlled by the British. Yet, there were opinions among some Malays that the Malay states should be completely freed from British colonial rule.

6. Malays only realized that they might be marginalized and be made beggars in their own states when the Malay Rajas bowed to MacMichael's threats and signed a new agreement with the British to return the Malay states directly to the British to be ruled as British colonies like Singapore, Penang and Malacca.

7. Because the Rajas so easily handed over Singapore, Penang and Pangkor to the colonialists and then the Malay states, the People ("rakyat") could no longer accept a system that only gives power to the Rajas and the People are not given any role in the country's politics. Also, after World War 2, absolute monarchies decayed throughout the world. Everywhere, absolute monarchies were abolished. Where it was maintained, the powers of the Rajas were limited by the Constitution, or the country's basic law. Hence, when the Federated Malay States demanded for independence, the leaders of the People studied administrative systems while taking into account of the history of the Malay States and other administrative systems.

ok what do we do with your father hang him?

This is what happens when they are always telling lies, oops forgot to keep Utusan on track, alamak sudah banyak silap, never mind lah, journalists/newspapers misquoted or twisted the statement, NOT suppose to be like that, remember our DPM!

Najib's 1Malaysia pot is perforated with holes. It does not hold water. His own mouth piece the Utusan has already make a joke of it. Unless he walks the talk by burning the garbage rascist Utusan, we don't give much salt to his 1malaysia missio

Don't have to look to Utusan for the problem. Look at Najib's speech and you find its inconsistent, unconvincing and coming from someone few outside his party trust.

UMNO & utusan meloya & the ultra racists still don't get it. Their thick skulls are still filled with their racial supremacist garbage.

The PEOPLE have risen and are united against their kind. The PEOPLE are the ones demanding for the country to be free and fair. The PEOPLE are the ones demanding the end to their racial bigoted stand

Later they would say that they were "misquoted", or that what they said were "taken out of context". And then they would say that if the reporters do not know the Malay language, they can send the reporters back to school. Bwahahahahahaha. Welcome to the new administration!

For 52 years…they have been screw-up almost everything! What makes you think that they would ever keep their promise? A fine example …utusan owned by UMNO… AND LEADERSHIP IS SAY ANOTHER THING …. how can the people trust their word

Rais Yatim…….Truth heh!!!! . Yeap your mouth piece( Utusan Meloyang ) has spoken. Now wait for the next GE. My middle finger is already sticking out on you UMNO racist The following is a long, five-page piece published in Utusan Malaysia on 22 March 2009. I really don't want to translate it for you but the bottom-line is the piece is extremely inflammatory and borders on rabble-rousing to fan the sentiments of the Malays and make them rise up in anger, like during the prelude to the infamous May 13. The question now would be, where does that place Najib's One-Malaysia, or are we going to see another May 13 instead?

KETUANAN, MAAF DAN SEORANG BINATANG

Oleh MARSLI N.O, Utusan Malaysia

BANGSA

Cuba kau fikir elok-elok.

Siapa lagi aku maksudkan kalau bukan mereka? Apa masihkah kau belum sedar?

Entah kenapa niatku hendak meneruskan jerkahku menjadi sirna.

Kerana itulah ingin kukatakan kepadamu.

MAAF

APA-APA kau kenalah minta maaf, bodoh.

Kerana itulah sekarang kau kena memohon maaf.

Aku terkesima beberapa detik lamanya. Apa tidaknya.

Kenapa takut bertindak? – Awang Selamat

ANOTHER MALE PROSTITUTE DESPERATE COS THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA IS LOSING ITS WOW FACTOR NOW HE HAS TO FIND A JOB IN LORONG HAJITAIB 5

Perak selain mahu menyaman baginda.

Jangan tunggu sampai nasi menjadi bubur. – Utusan Malaysia Strip this fellow citizenship alIumno knows nothing except arousing the people's anger to achieve their selfish ambition of taking back power from PR.They will failed becos the rakyat knows too well that they are playing racist card

PR should search for old newspaper REPORTS as well as PHOTOGRAPHS from GOVT CONTROLLED(MSM( inc UTUSAN AND BERITA HARIAN) that FOCUSSED ON the MASS RALLIES HELD THROUHOUT THE COUNTRY BY UMNO IN THE 1983/1984 THAT HIGHLIGHTED THE SO CALLED 'EXCESSES OF THE ROYALITIES' AND THE DEMAND OF THE BN GOVT TO CURTAIL THE POWERS AND REDUCE THE IMMNUITY OF ThE ROYALS.. Then let THE COUNTRY AND TEH WHOLE WORLD SEE who were the ones who carried out the all the "treats'and the 'treachery'on the MONARCHY AT a NATIONAL SCALE….. "Utusan Malaysia and also Berita Harian gave almost blanket coverage"Not very green-friendly, and a waste of time and money with so many people boycotting these papers.

HILANGNYA SEBUTIR BINTANG POLITIK MELAYU MALAYSIA...

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 10:38 AM PST

The Star Publications and akhbar TheSun.

I will make you somebody one day".

Selamat Jalan GuruKu

By Bunga Pakma

Happy new year to you, dear Reader!  Or, perhaps I should be more specific and say this mouthful: Happy Observance of the first day of the solar calendar established by Julius Caesar and refined under Pope Gregory XIII!

I wouldn't doubt that every day in Earth's swing around the sun is New Year's Day to somebody, somewhere on the planet.  Even the Maya reckoning is now famous because of all those silly rumours of disaster in 2012.  In Malaysia we celebrate 1 January; then Chinese New Year on the second new moon after the winter solstice; then the Śaka new year on the spring equinox.  The Islamic calendar is purely lunar, so 1st Muharram wanders backwards through the solar year.  And let's not forget the Rice-Year observed by Dayaks, once when they got the harvest in, and now gazetted as 1 June.  Gawai cards often carry the message "Selamat Taun Baru."

The more the merrier.  This morning I woke late, slightly crapulous, and went to sit on the porch here in PJ. The town was profoundly quiet. Traffic noise made the faintest whisper in the distance and birdsong filled the foreground.  I nearly fell asleep once again as I listened, such was the peace. Even now, at noon, the burung tekukur and burung semalau are the nearest presence to my ears.

All the years I've seen leave me feeling blasé about a change of number.  It's the odometer rolling over a digit. When one is young plenty of time and opportunity lie ahead. One pushes forward into life with eagerness.  By now I have done most of what I'm ever going to do, and 2010 is another step closer to the boneyard.  Don't think I'm morose.  As they say in the music business, You can't go off if you don't go on.

It's natural to think about the past at a change of date. Taxi-drivers have been sharing with me their stories of the past year's catastrophes, and the newspapers feature lengthy reviews of 2009.  Let others rehearse the crimes, follies and disasters of that twelvemonth.  I'm content with the majority opinion that 2009 was a crummy year in a crummy decade.

While I was back in Sarawak, my son and I made a pre-Christmas shopping-trip from Pasar Pakma to Kuching.  To our delight, we found that Ting & Ting had at last seen the wisdom of stocking a few extra frozen turkeys for the latecomers who did not Book Ahead.  We also had things to buy on India and Gambier Streets and Main Bazaar.

Wandering among the familiar old shops gave me great pleasure. The buildings themselves are picturesque, attractive and venerable in a way one scarcely sees in the Klang Valley. These businesses sell many useful things one can find no longer in snooty KL, which in false shame tries to erase its humble beginnings.

Some months ago I had to search nearly an hour in a taxi to find the single seller of rotan chairs in KL.  On Carpenter St. there two or three shops that sell rotan.  And once you've bought your settee you can find high quality tea, leave yourinjin rumput to be repaired, buy a book and eat a delicious bowl of home-made noodles, all within a few steps. This is what cities are supposed to be.

I was quite upset by the news of the seven shops on Gambier St. destroyed by fire. We had been there that very morning.  The old markets that faced them have been torn down.  Who knows what monstrosity may be erected in their place?  It may be mere sentimentality to regret the loss of funky-Asian "character," but I think not to lament the passing of age-old conveniences.

It's a pity that no Malaysian newspaper sees fit to publish book-reviews. In my snooping at shops I found a delightful little addition to Kuching history that deserves to be better known. These are the memoirs of Wong Kee Hung, compiled by his son Seng Chow. Equipped with the racy title Rice Wine & Dancing Girls, it ought to sell.

Wong Kee Hung was born in Seremban. After the war, he had an offer to join the Cathay Organisation in Singapore and train as a theatre operator.  He jumped at it, and was soon heading movie-theatres in Batu Pahat, Malacca, and Singapore. In 1949 Cathay's head, Loke Wan Tho, determined to expand the business into Sarawak, and Wong was the man he sent to take charge of the Sylvia and the Lilian.

Never assume from a mere job-description—in Wong's case "itinerant cinema manager"—you can tell what the life is going to be like. The life at first was rough. Wong camped out in odd storerooms, his sole furniture a folding army cot and a mosquito-net, while whipping the Lilian and Sylvia into money-making efficiency and touring Sarawak, Brunei, Sabah and Labuan looking for theatres that might be brought into the Cathay fold.

In Kuching Wong faced down competitors (the Shaw set), shameless gate-crashers, scalpers, touts and gangsters, the last in a tense but ultimately laughable duel in the Museum Gardens.  His sidekick here was Mr. Khoo, who had fought the Japanese with the Communists.

RW&DG is well worth reading for its evocation of an era that many Kuchingites lived through and remember with fondness. This was a time when the cinema was the foremost social entertainment, and during his years in Kuching, Wong became a very important man. He served on the Kuching Municipal Council and was a frequent guest of the governor, Sir Anthony Abell, who tried to keep Wong when Cathay wanted to send him to Sabah.

To tell you more would ruin the story. I must add that Wong's writes excellent English prose.

Milan Kundera, the Czech writer, has a character in one of his novels say that while the future is obscure, formless, and

vaguely menacing, the past is full of colour, incident and life. Wong agrees.  His handwritten account begins: "Looking back at all these years, events of my life flashed through my mind like a cinemascopic picture."  May our own movies come to as happy an ending as his!

Malaysia bus crash killers

Subject: Re: Malaysia bus crash blogspot

Not only buses. All moving things on the road are subjected to crashes and
dangers. The best way to avoid these dangers are to ban completely all type
of vehicles including bicycles. Go back to the old days where automobiles
were not invented and people go about riding bullock carts. By then, we
shouldn't be worry about prices of petrol, but should be more concerned
about having large patches of land to grow grasses to feed the cows,
buffaloes and horses.

“S-G SPDP…??”

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 06:47 AM PST

Will he ..? Will he not..?

It seems barely a few days after the SPDP TGM there are strong undercurrents swirling that Sylvester Entri might not be re-appointed as Secretary General. There seems to be very strong objections from the majority group who wants to put their own man to be the SG to the party. A phone call was even made to the Executive Secretary of the party by our source to clarify whether the President has made up his mind and his answer was a ,"No not yet

It appears that Mawans hands are tied closely and it remains whether he will come out unscathed or face a revolt of some sort inside the Supreme Council. Will they use a 2/3rds majority to remove him if he goes against their wishes?  A preemptive move by a 'NO CONFIDENCE VOTE on the President"

So who is the other person favoured. It seems lawyer Kilat Beriak is the frontrunner if Sylvester Entri (Assistant Minister) is not reappointed.   Why Kilat and not Sylvester..?? This needs not be answered by audie61 as it is already well publicised that earlier there were some internal arguments which had sparked up a TEAM A and TEAM B grouping which was eventually compromised with a solution.

It seems that actions can only take place after the party elections are held to eventually sort out  the  niggling internal problems. According to our innsider source its a FRESH NEW Headache for Mawan and it is not so difficult to solve. He can just discard both these two persons and opt for someone who has the caught the imagination of the party and public at large. Even those in the BN family are talking about him being burnt to ashes.

But as the saying goes," Like a Phoenix he will rise from the Ashes and claim his Rightful Place." Could Philip Ngo be just the right person to take over the SG posiion to balance the possibility of a 'CRACK IN THE PARTY". We never know as the decision lies in the hands of the President and he can surely use Philip as a leverage to stop all the infighting or interference from outside as openly claimed by some.

Surely the defeated Deputy President candidate will not be well received by Nyarok or Tiong but they say the party is above all and it could just be the right tonic for the BN SPDP party. A well placed source said Philip has certainly created enough Bang for the party and he could be just the perfect antidote to influence many more young and dynamic members to BN and SPDP.

This words could be just perfect to start a new reengineering and reinventing exercise for BN. Philip has walked the talk and he could counter PKR Dr.Chua Jui Meng very easily if he campaigns in Sarawak as Dr.Chua is known to have said these words," A politician who keeps quiet is not a politician." So could we see a choice between Sylvester.Kilat or Philip? If you are the President of SPDP  who will you choose…???

Mawan will use the time available to weigh the options and he alone will announce the SPDP SG as it is his prerogative..

Al-Fatihah!

Journalists, politicians, friends and diplomats lost a dear friend today. Tok Mat or Tan Sri Mohamed Rahmat, ex-Info Minister and BN's sec-gen, dies in his sleep at 8am.

At 72, he leff us just 3 days short of his birthday.

I believe my journalist friends of my generation will agree with me that he was among the best and friendliest senior minister we ever dealt with. Known for his diplomacy in speaking, he was once our ambassador to Indonesia.

His generosity, too made him 'a father' to many, especially 'naughty journalists like me. I used to 'rob' him RM500 at the Dewan Rakyat some years ago. Few of my fellow journalists, I believe will miss him sadly.

Al-Fatihah, may Allah finds you a place in his Jannah... amin!

Bila Sultan Sultan Melayu Membisu...Sang Kaffir Mengharu Biru!!!

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 08:33 AM PST

Saya rasa begitu kecewa!

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala memerintahkan kita supaya :

1. Qul huwa Allahu ahadun

1. Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): "(Tuhanku) ialah Allah Yang Maha Esa;

1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

2. Allahu alssamadu

2. Allah Yang menjadi tumpuan sekalian makhluk untuk memohon sebarang hajat;

2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

3. Lam yalid walam yooladu

3. Ia tiada beranak, dan Ia pula tidak diperanakkan;

3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

4. Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahadun

4. Dan tidak ada sesiapapun yang serupa denganNya".

4. And there is none like unto Him.

Apa agama Nabi Adam Alaihis Salam?

21. He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us':It is a matter (so) decreed."

22. Fahamalat-hu faintabathat bihi makanan qasiyyan

22. So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

23. Faajaaha almakhadu ila jithAAi alnnakhlati qalat ya laytanee mittu qabla hatha wakuntu nasyan mansiyyan

23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

24. Fanadaha min tahtiha alla tahzanee qad jaAAala rabbuki tahtaki sariyyan

24. But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

25. Wahuzzee ilayki bijithAAi alnnakhlati tusaqit AAalayki rutaban janiyyan

25. "And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.

26. Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynan fa-imma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqoolee innee nathartu lilrrahmani sawman falan okallima alyawma insiyyan

26. "So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say, 'I have vowed a fast to ((Allah)) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into not talk with any human being'"

27. Faatat bihi qawmaha tahmiluhu qaloo ya maryamu laqad ji/ti shay-an fariyyan

27. At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

28. Ya okhta haroona ma kana abooki imraa saw-in wama kanat ommuki baghiyyan

[28]" Wahai saudara perempuan Harun, bapamu bukanlah seorang yang buruk akhlaknya, dan ibumu pula bukanlah seorang perempuan jahat!"

28. "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

29. Faasharat ilayhi qaloo kayfa nukallimu man kana fee almahdi sabiyyan

29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

30. Qala innee AAabdu Allahi ataniya alkitaba wajaAAalanee nabiyyan

30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

31. WajaAAalanee mubarakan aynama kuntu waawsanee bialssalati waalzzakati ma dumtu hayyan

31. "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

32. Wabarran biwalidatee walam yajAAalnee jabbaran shaqiyyan

32. "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

33. Waalssalamu AAalayya yawma wulidtu wayawma amootu wayawma obAAathu hayyan

33. "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

34. Thalika AAeesa ibnu maryama qawla alhaqqi allathee feehi yamtaroona

34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.

35. Ma kana lillahi an yattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu

[35]Tiadalah layak bagi Allah mempunyai anak. Maha Sucilah Ia. Apabila menetapkan jadinya sesuatu perkara, maka hanyalah Ia berfirman kepadanya: "Jadilah engkau", lalu menjadilah ia.

35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

36. Wa-inna Allaha rabbee warabbukum faoAAbudoohu hatha siratun mustaqeemun

36. Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight.

37. Faikhtalafa al-ahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min mashhadi yawmin AAatheemin

37. But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day!

38. How plainly will they see and hear, the Day that they will appear before Us! but the unjust today are in error manifest!

39. Waanthirhum yawma alhasrati ith qudiya al-amru wahum fee ghaflatin wahum la yu/minoona

39. But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe!

40. Inna nahnu narithu al-arda waman AAalayha wa-ilayna yurjaAAoona

40. It is We Who will inherit the earth, and all beings thereon: to Us will they all be returned.

Disana Kerajaan Indonesia membenarkan perkahwinan campur diantara agama anutan mereka.

Berpantang maut sebelum ajal!

Daku tak rela sama sekali untuk membiarkan mana mana pihak menghalalkan 'Ismul Allah' untuk digunapakai mana mana Kaffir Laknatullah dimuka bumi tanahair ini!

Jika kamu hendak juga berkeras mengguna pakai istilah 'Allah' maka se eloknya kamu mengucaplah dua kalimah syahadah!

Iaitu 'Asy hadu Alla ila ha ill lall Laah! Wa Asy hadu anna Muhammad dar Rasul lul laah!'

TAKBIR!!!!

ALLAHU AKBAR! ALLAHU AKBAR! ALLAHU AKBAR!

LA ILA HA ILL LALL LAAH! MUHAMMAD DA RASULULLAH!

Did Someone Very Stupid Try To Hack My Account?

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 02:44 AM PST

Well I don't know if someone tried to hack my account or google/blogger just messed up but this morning I received an email telling me different steps on how to recover my password.

Now if this was the job of a hacker...I am telling you publicly--buy "hacking for dummies" or something before you try hacking someone else's account. If you don't know what you're doing, try not to do it because it just reveals how stupid you are. When you click "forgot password", I get the email Einstein, not you.

To the rest here, if you receive an email from me that doesn't sound like me or if there is a post posted on the blog that doesn't sound like something I would write, please delete it.

Just thought I'd give you a heads-up!

FINDING WAYS TO FIT CULTURAL PLURALISM IN 2010

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 01:19 AM PST

The world we live in has long since gone past the crossroads of living with ones cultural identity in isolation. If we endeavour to do so, we would not be acting wisely as in the process of creating dogmatic rules or ideological censure the chauvinistic political leaders or bureaucratic administrators would deprive other ethnic groups of the free enjoyment of their culture. Hence, whenever these chauvinists look for communal support they would painfully realize their flawed perception and thus such perceived cultural domination withers and dies in isolation. March 2008 brought to light their isolation.

Neither can there be a government that can formulate policies of domination through the introduction of a "national cultural policy" or through the indoctrination of "religion." How immature can these political bigots be when by their ignorance they deprive other religious denominations from the use of a generic term "Allah" which signifies the expression of "God." Finally, the High Court on an application by the Roman Catholic Church for judicial review has granted a Declaration on 31.12.2009 that the blanket ruling made by the Ministry of Home Affairs banning the use of the word 'Allah' as illegal, null and void.

Such policies would constitute a blatant denial of human rights. It grossly violates the constitutional rights of freedom of speech as enshrined in Article 10 of the Federal Constitution. Conversely, the enhancement of the implementation of its policies would impair the identity, value and traditions of other indigenous cultures and violate their constitutional rights to freely practice their religious affairs.

As Zainah Anuar an advocate of justice in Islam in her writing on Malaysia in a "postmodern condition" especially on the issue of Islamic law and how it "clashes" with the Constitution, has rightfully stated:

"Constitutional lawyers and many liberals would argue that freedom of religion is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Federal Constitution and human rights principles. Faith is a private matter between the believer and his God and the state has no role to play in intervening to determine whether a citizen is a good, bad or non-believer."

This view of Zainah is logical whilst the chauvinistic expressions of political leaders are premised on fiction. Malaysia is a nation of a variety of cultural identities, thus there is in existence cultural diversity which is inseparable as each of the people in each culture would be prone to affirm their own identity.

As by the passage of time 2010 has rang in and we have been independent for some 52 years or more from the claws of British colonialism. Colonialism left us with a legacy of segregation in our educational system and had encouraged and institutionalized race based politics out of which grew the evil and demonized idea of the hegemony of "Ketuanan Mealyu" to which ill conceived idea the government used the instruments of social and political control.

The government should dismantle its "National Culture Policy"(NCP) which was introduced in 1970. The NCP is Malaycentric. It fails to reflect on the multicultural reality of Malaysia. It rejects the principle of cultural equality which is in violation of Article 8 of the Federal Constitution on equality. It dictates the need for cultural hegemony which is premised on Malay Islamic culture. But even the Malays themselves disagree with it.

Now since 2009 has ebbed into the annuals of history so must the moribund 1Malaysia Concept. Only psychopaths will believe in such a concept as "Malaysia" is Malaysia as a nation and it is not conceivable for a nation to have a numerical connotation.

If that is the case, it is clear that Najib's government is making a confession to the world that all these years since the ideology of "Mahathirism" was institutionalized it had given the "Death knell to race relations, education, cultural identity and commercial morality."

We did warn the government in a passive way that what they were propagating in their ivory towers would in fact negate the universal application of the principles that rationalism should prevail in the making of its policies.

The government opted for the "Ali Baba and its fourty thieves" method. It failed to realize that rationalism was the only way for our ethnically diversified society to use our creativity, human capital and skill and the knowledge of the prudent use of capital resources to modulate and design appropriate solutions that would be both ethical and utilitarian in nature which would be for the benefit of the nation as a whole.

Now after the Mahathirism ideology has collapsed there has been some dramatic artificial shift in policies relating to race relations, education and cultural identity. How shallow is the knowledge of these chauvinistic politicians as it is apparent that none of them are qualified to be termed as being "astute" politicians and this could be the result of mediocrity being given recognition.

We do not have to re-invent our society to create cultural pluralism. All that we have to do as a nation of diverse people is to understand and uphold the various provisions as provided for in the Federal Constitution which in essence is that we are a secular society.

We should strive with greater determination and make sacrifices to face our challenges as a people of one nation and uphold nationalism and leave our ethnic identities to reside within our homes.

We should reject forced coerced assimilation and should over time endeavour to evolve our cultural development and integration as we do daily at our place of work into other spheres of our human endeavour.

The issue of superiority in any form should be deemed as being morally defunct and intellectually arrogant which would only arise out of ignorance. We should strive not to be over sensitive on ethnic issues and channel our energy on attaining equality and ensue that our support is given to politicians who must dismantle all administrative dictates or other means that have been utilized to uphold political supremacy and all other forms of numerical advantages.

In the final analysis, as we are the masters of our faith, we should impress upon all our elected representatives that they should not only uphold the provisions of our Federal Constitution but as Malaysia is a Member of the United Nations,(UN) they should have the inspiration to implement the various recommendations enunciated by the UN Educational, Social, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). The link is provided for all those who are interested to gain a better understanding of what was decided at the world conference on cultural policies at Mexico City in 1982.

As every one of us are in some sense a "philosopher."  So, we cannot disregard the fact that each and everyone of us would at least be able to use the imagination of the picture making faculty of our mind to visualize and to correct the course of history. We have been endowed with a highly developed brain and nervous system and this remark is premised on the multitude of comments that are daily posted on the alternate media.

Hence, as we think, it would lead us to the pathway to philosophy thus showing us the way to attain cultural pluralism. As Rudyard Kipling said: " If history were taught in the form of stories, it will never be forgotten." So can cultural pluralism be achieved.

RPK Jadi Sami Di Eropah!

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 01:42 AM PST

Oleh Anak Mami

Pada awal PDRM mengesahkan Raja Petra sembunyi di Brisbane, Australia.
Akibat kegagalan, maka PDRM ingin menuntut balik air muka dan mula lah skrip baru untuk memperbodohkan rakyat. Persoalannya kenapa hendak tangkap RPK?

Adakah PDRM ingin menghabiskan berjuta juta ringgit menghantar SB pergi menyaisat RPK? Kalau boleh diharap PDRM pergi ke Schikanedergasse 12/13, A-1040 Vienna, Austria.

Allah Does Not Belong To The Umnoputras Only

The High Court's ruling on the government's ban on use of the word 'Allah' by non-Muslims and especially The Herald, may be overturned by the Court of Appeal as the Home Minister has said that the government is going to appeal against the decision. This shouldn't come as a surprise as we have seen many High Court decisions against the Evil BN/Umno regime has been overturned by the Court of Appeal as in the YAB Nizar Jamaluddin and YB Anwar Ibrahim cases.

Allah is the Arabic word God and it is also one of His names. It comes from two Arabic words Al which is the definite article "The" and Ilah which means "God" or "that which you adore or worship", so Allah literally means "The Only True God worthy of worship".

Muslims prefer to call God Allah because all the prophets used this great name to refer to their Creator and also because it has no gender and it means Absolute Oneness.

Even in Aramaic, the language Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) spoke the word for God is Allah or Allaha.

We have been commanded by Allah in the Glorious Quran to say to the Jews and the Christians: ""We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our God and your God is One (i.e, Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)." [29:46]

Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall (1875-1936), the famous British translator of the Glorious Quran wrote explaining why he chose to use Allah in his translation instead of God: "I have retained the word of Allah throughout because there is no corresponding word in English. The word 'Allah' (the stress is on the last syllable) has neither feminine nor plural, and has never been applied to anything other than the unimaginable Supreme Being." [The Meaning of the Glorious Koran, Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall (trans.), New York, The New American Library, 1961, p.31 as quoted in The Eternal Message of Muhammad, Abd al-Rahman Azzam, Quartet Book Ltd., London, 1979, pp.35-36]

Umno Hilang Allah

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 01:11 AM PST

Begitu juga blogger pro UMNO menganggap Kenapa nak ditiru nama tuhan orang Islam? apa maksud tersembunyi pihak gereja.adakah utk kelirukan orang islam mengenai perkataan Allah?

Omar Goh juga tumpang sedih, kini dikejutkan apabila mahkamah keptusan tinggi , walau bagaimanapun Omar Goh telah mengambil satu pengajian baru di blog MarGeeMar, beliau terpaksa menerima bahawa The name "Allah" is the Arabic word that refers to the one true God who created the heavens and the Earth – the God of all the Prophets from Adam to Noah to Abraham to Moses to Jesus to Muhammad (peace be upon them all).

The word Allah comes from the Arabic word "ilâh" meaning "deity, god, divine being" combined with the definite article "al". Put together, they make "al-Ilâh" or literally "the God" which is then elided together as "Allah"

Omar Goh Wei liang haruslah syukur, beliau telah belajar memahami apakah sebenarnya kalimah Allah yang sebenarnya The word Allah comes from the Arabic word "ilâh" meaning "deity, god, divine being" combined with the definite article "al". Put together, they make "al-Ilâh" or literally "the God" which is then elided together as "Allah"

Sekiranya Omar Goh Wei Liang ingin masuk Melayu dan mewajibkan dirinya jadi Bangsa Islam keturun UMNO,maka disyorkan Omar Goh lakukan sunat buang kulit dulu belajar Islam melalui Ridhuan Tee.

“888 SELFISHNESS POSTS”

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 12:31 AM PST

Our last posting for the year was our 888 posting since May 1st 2008. Our blog audie61 has grown tremendously due to the support and encouragement from all sections/quarters be it friends or foes. We are not about to go and Praise Ourselves for a Job Well Done and Shouting our voices Hoarse for everyone to know. Or why not? Isn't it selfishness that got us together in the first place or has it been pre-destined. Selfishness for our own good WHY NOT..??

Many people reached their goals by being selfish and my elders told me its high time we show how we can be selfish to achieve our aims. Nothing frustrates us all at audie61 when someone reads something of ours and says angrily," I DONT BUY THAT."

Why are they angry? Our writing must have suceeded in its ability to push the message across. We try to engage you and whether we succeed or fail we have made you come back for more and that is SELFISHNESS on our part. But who cares?

We know that you would not like to be in our MINDS and HEADS but we are selfish to tell you we are starting our 889 posting on January 1st 2010 and that is today. audie61 is a No 7 and 889 toals up 25 and it is also the Figure 7. Are you following us so far..? Where are we driving at..? Who cares.?

Anyway to all our readers lets ENJOY THE START OF THIS YEAR by saying to yourself,"Thanking and Praising GOD for Today." Tomorrow audie61  will not need bother to even get into your minds….Thats SELFISHNESS…….We are blessed though to be a mouthpiece for some but as always we asked for foregiveness and  this NEW YEAR we have a little something for everyone,"

PEOPLE MAY TRY TO RUIN YOUR REPUTATION,AND THIS CAN HURT.BUT REMEMBER,IT CAN ONLY HURT YOUR FEELINGS.THE WORLD WILL FORGET,SO DON'T HOLD ON TO BAD PUBLICITY OR WHAT OTHERS SAY. LET IT GO…..889 ISNT  SO SELFISH AFTER ALL Right...ALL the bests for the NEW YEAR 2010 ..duhhhh???

KEnapa UMNO Tak Laksana Hudud di Melaka Dan Terengganu?

Posted: 31 Dec 2009 11:30 PM PST

Jadi, faham-fahamlah kenapa UMNO Melaka tak berapa semangat nak laksanakan Islam. Veteran-veteran UMNO sendiri amat jauh dari Islam.

Ku Li, striking oil has been a curse

Posted: 31 Dec 2009 07:46 PM PST

The 'go go years' are over and our 'oil lottery' money is fast depleting mainly due to mismanagement by the powers-that-be, decried veteran politician Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, According to the Petronas founder, the original plans of the oil giant did not include over-producing oil to pay for billions of ringgit worth of unnecessary government projects. "It started with this (defence equipment purchase) agreement with (then British prime minister) Margaret Thatcher, and suddenly the ...

Mohammad Hasan with his RM10 million ordeal

Posted: 01 Jan 2010 02:18 AM PST

In my e-mail I received from a number of my regular readers asking me about the widely talked about issue of my MB Mohamad Hasan's 10 million ringgit affair with the money changer Ali Slamath which is under investigation by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) for illegal practices.

I was trying to avoid writing on this issue but after a while I decided to chip in some opinions as the readers encourage me to do so.

To my mind many people do use money changers to transfer funds abroad or to receive monies from abroad as it is the quickest and is the safe heaven for hiding money especially the ill-gotten ones.

In the case of Mohammad Hasan I am not quite keen to deliberate whether the money he transferred through the dubious money changer is an ill-gotten money.

Outwardly Mohammad has been a wealthy boy while he was in the corporate sector and 10million is just a dust to him.

What I wonder why is he acting too negligently knowing very well he is in a high public office and committing this kind of offence is a gravely irresponsible and reckless act.

He can't be blaming his officers for failing to smuggle the RM10 million to London to escape investigation.

By ethic he has done disservice to himself and this incident magnifies his already mistiness in NS politics.

By acting in this manner Mohammad is not helping UMNO, but instead he is aggravating the seriousness of problems currently the party is facing.

He used to shamelessly tell his audience in one of his speeches that he has wealth that can last for 4 generations and he did not need to be corrupted.

The 10 million ringgit may be from the long time money that has been with him before he became the weak MB of the state.

I used to be quite a friend of him before he became the MB and I know that it is wrong to allege him with corruption as he has been rich ever since he was in the Cycle & Carriage Bhd where he was the Managing Director.

As I am now not in his wave-length to even standing near to him, and I have not sat even once over coffee or tea with him. He has unceremoniously deserted many of his close friends and the ones who prayed for his successes before.

He is now the MB and friends close to him are no more friends except those who are still in the category of rich and famous and with elaborate decorations are still in his invitation list.

What I am concerned in this issue is the credibility of this MB. He has committed serious offence in the eyes of written law and morally his credibility and standing as a high up public servant is severely and unremittingly scratched.

He has no more reasons to loiter around in high public office as he is perceived by voting public to be going against law when he is a Law-Maker in the state.

He should voluntarily disclaim and renounce all party and government positions he holds to upkeep the integrity of the democratic government of the state.

This issue has been around for already 2 months and one wonders why UMNO is not lifting its fingers to take actions against this misdeed.

All the talks and tales about rejuvenating UMNO remains a rhetoric in the party's convention and the leadership is going to blame the people if they take actions against Law Falters like this wealthy MB in General Elections.

What is Najib's apprehension to execute his power to address the problems? I am just like the rest who hails from Negri to see some moves by the party for some kind of proper actions against Mohammad.

Najib should be taking cue from the public and I hope he does not take directives from the kitchen as we are talking about the state and the country's future.

We are managing a nation; not managing 'Persatuan Sepak Takraw Kuala Sawah'. UMNO has never learned anything out of passed mistakes and misadventures.

Issue of this heinous kind has been the norm for UMNO and taking action on one left loads of other issues unattended and that may be the reason for the party not taking Mohammad Hasan's issue as urgent.

If UMNO is serious in its attempt to regain support of the Malays and its members in particular the party should be taking urgent and swift step towards this issue as the NS State Assembly has only 4 seats majority in hand.

In conclusion, I am joining others on the street to hope for better UMNO with clear attitude towards the feelings and wants of the voting public in order to remain of consequence.

To Mohamad Hasan the party needs a sacrifice on his part; If his resignation can strengthen UMNO in the State, that is just what he ought to do……to walk his talk.

I hope he (Mohamad Hasan) would not continue on leaving the State party members in despair unendingly.

Do not treat the public as silly bunch and continue on the shenanigans of poor conduct leaders like the person now in issue.

To the PM, don't allow the irritated public to continue on feeling the pain of UMNO's misconducts, delinquency and transgressions too hard for them to stomach.

Do not continue on taking peoples' friendliness and kindness as weaknesses, and do observe the wish of the public.

Happy New Year. Let's look forward for real and organic changes.

Thanks………………………………………………………Aspan Alias

Court Says Catholic Herald Can Use Word Allah

Posted: 31 Dec 2009 09:05 PM PST

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 31

It will be a glorious new year for some 850,000 Catholics in Malaysia.
In a landmark ruling today, the High Court here lifted the home minister's ban against the Catholic church publishing the word "Allah" to refer to the Christian God in its weekly paper, Herald.
Counsel for the Herald, Porres Royan, told reporters, "The court has granted the declaration that the applicant has the Constitutional right to use the word Allah. I believe the ministry is bound by the court's decision."
Royan's fellow lawyer for the church, Benjamin Dawson, explained the impact of today's judgment in greater detail to the press.
"There are two points to today's order. Firstly, the court set aside the decision of the minister in imposing the prohibition on using the word 'Allah' in Herald.
"The second part of the order made by the court declares the width and breadth of the constitutional provisions, namely Articles 3, 11 and 12 and ruled that in light of these constitutional guarantees, the minister had acted unconstitutionally in imposing such conditions," Dawson said.
Article 3 of the Federal Constitution states that Islam is the official religion of the country but taken together with Articles 11 and 12, protects the rights of the minorities to be free to practice and be educated in their respective religions.
In short, the Herald does not need to go to court every year to fight for the right to publish the word "Allah". The publishing permit for the Herald expires today.
Senior Federal counsel Datuk Kamaludin Md Said said, "I was made to understand the ministry has already issued the permit for 2010."
He added that he will consult the ministry for new instruction, when asked about his next course of action.
The government had said that the ban was necessary to avoid confusing the majority Muslims in the country. Islam is the official religion in Malaysia.
But the church claimed the ban violates its constitutional rights to practice its religion freely.
According to Father Lawrence Andrew (picture) who edits Herald, the term "Allah" has been used by Christians in the region to refer to their God since four hundred years ago. He added that it is still actively used today.
Lawrence explained that "Allah" in the Christian context refers specifically to "God the Father", which is different from how Muslims use it.
Herald's editor claims the use of the word has not died out and is still being used in church worship among indigenous East Malaysians, who form a substantial number of the Christian faithful in the country.
According to the last census last carried out in Sarawak three years ago, 43 per cent of its population is Christian. In Sabah, the figure is close to 2.45 million, based on the state's last census in 2000.
But Fr Lawrence believes the official figures may not be accurate. He thinks the number of Christians in East Malaysia are higher, especially in Sarawak, which he puts the Christian community to be about half the state's population.
The church first took the government to court last year after the home ministry threatened to revoke its annual publishing permit for Herald, Malaysia's only Catholic paper.
It was forced to refresh its suit again this year after its 2008 permit expired without any decision from the court.
While today's judgment may renew the faith of Christians nationwide, Dawson cautioned that there was still a long way to go to fully restore the faith of other Malaysians in the country's justice system.
"We're grateful for the court's decision today. At the same time, we're disappointed with the lack of political will on the part of the government to deal with issues of this nature," Dawson told The Malaysian Insider.
"In recent years, people from minority religions were forced to go to court to protect their constitutional rights," he pointed out, listing several religious conversion and burial tussles, such as the Lina Joy, Subashini, Shamala and Moorthy cases as examples.
"How do we promote religious unity in our country?" he quizzed. "Surely not by going to court."
Dawson pressed the government to set up an inter-faith commission to resolve inter-religious disputes.
"We can't continue to live at odds with each other," Dawson stressed.

UMNO Responses to Court Decision - Its Real Colour Prevails

One of Umno's known hawks, Pasir Salak MP Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, lambasted the High Court judgment on the 'Allah' case today, saying that it would not solve anything but only ignite racial and religious tension.
The High Court today lifted the home minister's ban against the Catholic church from publishing the word "Allah" to refer to the Christian God in its weekly paper, Herald.
The landmark decision may be of joy for some 850,000 Catholics in the country but for Tajuddin, the suit itself, filed by Herald's lawyers, is an act of provocation.
"What is their motive (for the suit) ? Why all of a sudden they want to use the word Allah when all this while they have been using the term God?
"This is definitely provocation, they are just using all this human rights, religious rights as excuses. This is sensitive to the Muslims and this will create racial and religious tension," he told The Malaysian Insider.
The controversy over the word "Allah" has stirred huge debate among Christians and Muslims alike in Malaysia and attracted international attention as well.
The Home Minister, who controls giving the annual mandatory publishing permits in the country, had banned the church from using the word "Allah" outside the Muslim context.
Let all Malaysians judge this racist party. They instigate the people to react against court decision. But I am not surprise that court of appeal will turn around the High Court decision in first week of this new year. To catholic Heralds be prepared..your fight is not end yet!...Bukittunggal
But some have questioned if there can be a copyright over the word "Allah", which Muslim representatives here say is a special word reserved to refer to the Muslim God, meaning "the one and only Almighty".The act of questioning the exclusivity of the word "Allah" for Muslims said Tajuddin is a clear indicator that "certain quarters" have become "bolder".
"They have dared to do these things because the Muslims have been soft..but if you put some one in a corner, they will bounce back," lamented the Pasir Salak MP.
"What the High Court thinks is right, may not necessarily be right outside (the court)," he added.
Meanwhile PAS vice-president Datuk Mahfuz Omar said Muslims must respect the decision of the High Court and remain calm.
"We must not be hasty and jump to conclusions. We should let the religious authorities to decide on its next course of action," he said.
Asked if he agreed with the decision, Mahfuz ignored the question and reiterated that the country's Muslims must respect the High Court decision and allow the religious authority to decide on its next course of action.
Though it is unclear if the Home Minister will seek to reverse the decision through the Appellate Court but he is likely to do so given the sensitivity of the issue.
